You can e deer,eagles,monkeys and much more animals.(你可以看到鹿,大水牛,小老鼠,孔雀,鹰,猴子和更多的动物)可知,巴鲁兰国家公园是野生动物生活的好地方。
So each of us was offered a stick by the rangers
They taught
us that when the monkeys were too aggressive we must lift the it worked perfectly.(所以护林员给了我们每人一根棍子。

8~11.【答案】A、C、B、C
recent rearch into animals shows that animals
However,are continuously designing innovative methods to finish their tasks.(然而,最近对动物的研究表明,动物在不断地设计和创新新的方法来完成它们的任务。) ence. 故选A。
Rearch shows that animals too can be inventing new behavioral patterns and adjusting their behavior to new contexts,as well as to changes in social and ecological environments, rearchers show that animal innovation too can be diver.(研究表明,动物也有创造力。
Their broad diets and complex forms of learning are also indicate an evolutionary strategy that gave them new solutions to life's challenges.(它们广泛的饮食和复杂的学习形式也很有见地。
However,even if the animals show innovativeness,第12页,共22页
they do not have the ability to improve upon solutions of they share information accurately and copy each other's creative inventions are likely to vanish before they can be innovated ability can be managed only by humans, for we are able to build on shared knowledge.(然而,即使这些动物表现出创新能力,它们也没有能力改进其它动物的解决方案。 ability to share information accurately.他们准确分享信息的能力; willingness to learn from each other.他们互相学习的意愿; inability to take creativity forward.
12~15.【答案】C、A、D、B
This fall, students at the University of Massachutts found a new menu at their canteens:the "diet fora cooler planet" meant herb-roasted lamb, raid with a carbon-friendly included sweet potatoes that had been picked from a local farm's options were plant-heavy,locally grown, and involved little or no packaging.(今年秋天,马萨诸塞大学的学生们在他们的食堂里发现了一份新菜单:"为了更凉爽的星球的饮食"菜单。 We wanted to let students participate in climate action by making choices about their food," says Kathy Wicks, sustainability director for UMass Dining.("我们想让学生通过选择食物来参与气候行动,"马萨诸塞大学餐饮部可持续发展主管凯西•威克斯(Kathy Wicks)表示。)
Increasingly
American consumers and institutions are thinking about how their food choices impact climate many, small choices at the grocery store and restaurant can be more accessible than big-ticket options like buying a fuel-efficient car.(越来越多的美国消费者和机构正在思考他们的食物选择如何影响气候变化。 故选A。
If,on average,Americans cut 1/4 pound of beef per week from their diet,it's like taking 10 million cars off the road a year," says Sujatha Bergen, director
of health campaigns for the Natural Resources Defen waste ranks third among climate solutions.("如果美国人平均每周从他们的饮食中减少1/4磅牛肉,这就相当于每年减少1000万辆汽车上路,"自然资源保护委员会健康运动主任Sujatha Bergen说。)
Small changes in eating habits may make a big s point to the food system as a significant cau of global warming.(饮食习惯的微小改变可能会带来很大的不同。 People are beginning to understand that their food choices have a big impact on climate(人们开始明白,他们的食物选择对气候有很大的影响。) Carbon Diet:A trend,or More?(低碳饮食:是趋势,还是更多?)
