Shopify Payments calculates the fees bad on your Shopify plan

and the country where your store is located. Here are the key

components that determine the calculation:

1. Basic Plan: If you are on the Basic Shopify plan, you will be

charged a transaction fee for each sale made through Shopify

Payments. The transaction fee varies depending on the location of

your store. For example, in the United States, the fee is 2.9% + 30

cents per transaction, while in the United Kingdom, it is 1.9% + 20

pence per transaction.

2. Shopify Plan and Advanced Shopify Plan: If you are on either

the Shopify or Advanced Shopify plan, the transaction fee is

reduced. Again, the fee depends on your store's location. In the

United States, the fee is 2.6% + 30 cents per transaction for the

Shopify plan, and 2.4% + 30 cents per transaction for the

Advanced Shopify plan.

3. Additional Fees: Apart from the transaction fee, there may be

additional fees associated with Shopify Payments, such as

chargeback fees or fees for using unsupported currencies.

It's important to note that in some countries, you might be eligible

for lower transaction fees if you u Shopify Payments as the

primary payment processor. You can check the specific fees by

visiting the Shopify Payments ction in your Shopify admin

dashboard.
