Epee: Epee has a maximum length of 110 cm and
weighs approximately 770 grams. Unlike foil, epee allows
fencers to u both lunging and cutting attacks. In addition,
during an epee match, when a fencer hits their opponent's
valid target area, the referee will give a "stop" signal for
both fencers to reposition themlves before continuing
the match.
Sabre: Sabre has a maximum length of 105 cm and
weighs around 500 grams. In sabre competitions, fencers
can u lunging, cutting, and thrusting attacks. Similarly to
epee, there is also a "stop" signal in sabre matches.
