首先，学生登山队对高山、季节的选择要科学。其次，对自己的实力要有客观的认识，在了解自己的情况下做好尽可能好的生命保障措施；再次，社会对学生登山的积极性要保护、要支持。

长期以来，我们是不是常常赋予“坚强、坚忍不拔、临危不惧、勇往直前”等概念于理想主义的色彩，片面强调用勇敢的精神去战胜困境，片面强调用刻苦学习的精神加班加点地学习课本知识，而忽略了用智慧和策略去战胜困境、去学习；是不是往往在提倡用高尚的品格进行各种挑战的同时，忽略了价值观，特别是健康和生命的价值；是不是经常因为勇气和胆量，而没有很好地做细致的实地调查和认真检查自己的各方面条件而做到知己知彼，也没有更好地研究如何尊重科学和尊重各种规律，而去做一些冒险的、力所不能及的以及年龄和身心难以胜任的事等等，也许这是我们目前有些人要走出的思维误区。
