曹丞相府原为曹操处理军国大事的地方，奠定曹魏霸业的屯田令和求贤令都诞生在这里。后曹丕建立魏国后，曹氏府第由相府变为王府，后又演变为皇宫。只可以，曹丞相府的原有建筑在历史的风云激荡中早已荡然无存，甚至连遗迹也难觅踪影了。如今的曹丞相府是许昌市在原之上修建的一处旅游景区，也是目前全国第一个全方位展示曹魏文化的主题景区。
