反身代词用法小结

反身代词又称自身代词。其构成可以归纳为“一、二物主、三宾格”，即：第一、二人称的反身代词分别由其相应的形容词性物主代词加后缀“-lf / -lves”构成，第三人称的反身代词则由其相应的人称代词宾格形式加后缀“-lf / lves ”构成。

一、用作宾语，表示动作返回到其主语本身。

此时，要求使用与其主语在人称及数等方面保持一致的反身代词，有“自己、本人”的意思。例如：

1. She taught herlf English at that time. / She learnt English by herlf.

2. Help yourlf to some fish, plea!（招待客人时的客套语）

3. I have to learn to u it all by mylf. （介词宾语）

二、用作同位语，表强调。

与被说明的词在人称及数上保持一致，常置于被说明的词之后；如果是主语的同位语则也可以放在句末。例如：

1. He didn't often go to look for food himlf.

He himlf didn't often go to look for food.

2. Plea write down some of the numbers yourlf！

3. Do you e the teacher himlf? （宾语同位语）

三、有时，反身代词也可以用作主语或表语。例如：

1. I am not mylf today. （表语）

2. Both my father and mylf went to e the film. （主语）

四、一般不用作定语。

如需表达“自己的……”时，可以使用“(of) one's own”结构。例如：

1. This is a room of my own.

This big room is my own.

This is my own room.

2. I have (got) my own car this year.

五、其他用法。

反身代词常可以与“enjoy，help，hurt，teach，wash，learn，leave，look after”等词（组）连用。“(all) by onelf”是最常用的词组，相当于“alone，without one's help”，译作“单独的、独自的”，“for onelf”译作“亲自、亲身”。例如：

1. enjoy onelf 相当于 have a good time “玩得高兴”； help onelf to ...（招待用语）“随便吃……”；teach onelf / learn by onelf“自学……”。 2. My brother is too young to look after himlf.

3. We can't leave our child by herlf at home.

4. The little boy can wash himlf now.

5. They like to do everything (all) by themlves.

6. You'd better make the decision for yourlf.
