二、VOA Standard English(标准英语)

2.1. 背景提示：

Standard English是美国人日常使用的规范用语，其播音速度不低于140 words/min.词汇量

4000以上，句子较长、结构复杂、内容详实。因此，收听难度明显高于special English. VOA

的环球英语广播主要是标准英语节目，我国广大地区每日均可收到近十二小时的节目，与

special English一样，Standard English也分为News和Feature Programs两大类。

2.2. Standard English两大营地：News Program / Feature Programs

VOA的“标准英语”新闻按其题材范围和播出顺序分为国际新闻（The Latest world News）、
