1 RADAR OPERATION

雷达操作

1.1 Turning on the Power

The [POWER] switch is located at the left corner of the control unit. Open the power switch cover and press the

switch to turn on the radar system. To turn off the radar, press the switch again. The screen shows the bearing

scale and digital timer approximately 30 conds after power-on. The timer counts down three minutes of

warm-up time. During this period the magnetron (transmitter tube) is warmed for transmission. When the timer

has reached 0:00, the indication "ST-BY" appears at the screen center, meaning the radar is now ready

to

transmit puls.

In the stand-by condition, markers, rings, map, charts, etc. are not shown. Further, ARP is cancelled and the

AIS display is erad.

In warm-up and stand-by condition, ON TIME and TX TIME counts in hours and tenths of hour appear at

the screen center.

1.2 Transmitter ON

After the power is turned on and the magnetron has warmed up, ST-BY appears at the screen center,

meaning the radar is ready to transmit radar puls. You may transmit by pressing the [STBY/TX] key

on the full keyboard or roll the trackball to choo the TX STBY box at the bottom left corner of the

display and then push the left button (above the trackball). The label at the left-hand side of the

guidance box at the bottom right corner of the screen changes from TX to STBY

The radar is initially t to previously ud range and pul length. Other ttings such as brilliance levels, VRMs,

EBLs and menu option lections are also t to previous ttings.

The [STBY/TX] key (orTX STBY box) toggles the radar between STBY and TRANSMIT status. The antenna stops

in stand-by and rotates in transmit. The magnetron ages with time resulting in a reduction of output power.

ST-BY键联系雷达待机和发射两种状态。待机状态下天线不转动、在发射状态下转动,磁控管的使用时间影响输出功

率的大小,因此前来建议在雷达长时间不使用的情况下键雷达设于待机状态。

Quick start

快速启动

Provided that the radar was once in u with the transmitter tube (magnetron) still warm, you can turn the radar into

TRANSMIT condition without three minutes of warm-up. If the [POWER] switch has been turned off by mistake or

the like and you wish to restart the radar promptly, turn on the [POWER] switch not later than 10 conds after

power-off.

如果雷达仍在使用,磁控管仍然预热,可以无需等待3分钟。如果误关机,又马上要开机,请在10秒内马上打开电源。

1.3 Control Unit

Two types of control units are available: Control Unit RCU-014 (full keyboard) and Control Unit RCU-105

(palm control).

1.5 Operation Using the On-Screen Boxes

使用屏幕选择框进行操作

All radar functions can be accesd by using the trackball alone. This is done by choosing the appropriate

on-screen box with the trackball and operating the trackball module to choo item and option. (See paragraph 1

-9 for location of all on-screen boxes.) On-screen boxes come in two varieties: Function lection and function

lection w/pop-up menu. On-screen boxes of the latter type have '>" at the right side of their boxes, as in the

MARK box shown below.

所有功能均可通过鼠标单独完成,选择适当的屏幕功能框,用鼠标选择相应的选项(详见19节)。屏幕功能框分

To operate the radar using on-screen boxes, do the following:

1. Roll the trackball to place the trackball marker inside the box desired.

Note: The trackball marker changes its configuration according to its location. It is an arrow when placed outside

the effective display and a cursor (+) when inside the effective display. See the illustration on the next page for

further details.

When a box is correctly lected, its color changes from green to yellow (default colors) and the guidance box at

the bottom right corner shows operational guidance. The operational guidance shows the function of the left and

right buttons, with a diagonal line parating the information. For the MARK box, for example, the operational

guidance is "MARK SELECT / MARK MENU." In this ca you would push the left button to choo a mark or

push the right button to open the MARK menu.

当一个功能框被选中后,其颜色由绿变黄,右下角的引导框显示操作引导,引导框显示相应的左右键的功

The trackball marker is either a cursor (+) or an arrow () depending on whether it is within or outside the

display area, respectively. Further, the indication in the guidance box changes according to trackball

marker location.

鼠标箭头根据所在的位置改变其形状,在雷达显示范围内显示为十字,在菜单显示区内显示为箭头。引导框

的内容根据鼠标的位置不同显示相应的信息

To choo boxes successively, push the wheel when the guidance box reads as above. Then, the nearest box is

lected and marked with the double-ended arrow and the guidance box reads

按下滚轮滚动可连续选择功能框,鼠标箭头变为双箭头,移动就可选择下一个最近的功能框。

"JUMP FORWARD / JUMP BACKWARD." Hit the left button to go to the box below or adjacent to the currently

lected box or hit the right button to go to the box above or adjacent to the currently lected box. Continue

pushing a button to choo boxes successively. This is convenient for operation under heavy pitching and rolling.

To cancel this feature, push the wheel when the guidance box reads as above.

“跃前/跃后”按左键进入下一个与当前功能框相邻的功能框,连续按则连续向下选择功能框,按右键相反。

该功能便于在船舶纵摇横摇严重时使用,再按滚轮取消该功能。

2. Push the left button (or roll the wheel depending on the box) until the desired option is displayed in the box.

Note: When you cho an on-screen box's option by rolling the wheel, the box and its contents turn red. This

simply indicates that the chon tting is different from the currently active tting. To change the tting, push

the wheel or the left button. If neither the wheel nor the left button is pushed within about 30 conds after

operating the wheel, the previous tting is automatically restored.

注意:当用鼠标选中了屏幕上的一个功能框时,该框体和内容显示为红色,这简单的表明所选的设定异于当

3. The pop-up menu attached to the MARK box is the MARK menu. To open the menu, push the right

button. The menu opens in the text area at the right side of the screen.

Note: Any menu may be operated from the full keyboard or the trackball, or a combination of the two in ca of

Control Unit RCU-014.

Cursor Menu

Functions which require the u of the cursor, such as EBL offt and zoom, may be activated directly from the

guidance box or from the CURSOR menu, either method with the cursor inside the effective display area. Below is

the procedure for choosing a cursor-related function from the CURSOR menu. In later ctions only the procedure for

lection from the guidance box is given.

1.7 Monitor Brilliance

显示器亮度

The brilliance of the entire screen should be adjusted according to lighting conditions. Monitor brilliance

should be adjusted before adjusting relative brilliance levels on the BRILL menu to be explained later.

整个显示器的亮度应根据环境照明来决定,显示器亮度应在调节相对亮度之前调节。

Note: The brilliance of a commercial monitor cannot be adjusted from the radar. See the owner's manual of the

commercial monitor for how to adjust its brilliance.

不能在雷达中调节商用显示器的亮度。详见用户手册。

By keyboard

Operate the [BRILL] control on the control unit to adjust brilliance. Turn it clockwi to increa brilliance;

counterclockwi to decrea brilliance. Watch the BRILL box (e illustration below) to know current brilliance

level.

使用键盘上的亮度调节旋钮调节亮度,顺时针增加亮度,逆时针减小亮度,观察屏幕之亮度调节框。

By trackball 鼠标操作

1Roll the trackball to place the arrow on the brilliance level indicator in the brilliance level indication box at the

bottom left corner of the screen.

将光标置于屏幕左下角的亮度调节框中的亮度调节条上

2. Roll the wheel downward to increa brilliance or roll it upward to decrea brilliance. The

length of the brilliance bar increas or decreas with operation of the wheel.

Note: If nothing appears on the screen at power-up when using Control Unit RCU-015 (palm control)

or when the radar is in stand-by, press and hold down any key except the power switch for four

conds to automatically t up for medium display brilliance.

1.8 Choosing the Display Mode

This radar has two display modes: Radar and Radar + Plotter. Choo a display mode as below.

Note that a display mode cannot be chon when the menu is open.

1. Roll the trackball to place the arrow in the DISPLAY MODE box at the top of the screen.

The tuning method can be lected with the TUNE box at the top of the screen.

1. Roll the trackball to choo the TUNE box (TUNE AUTO or TUNE MAN) at the top of the

screen.

Automatic tuning is initialized during the installation. However, if you feel that automatic tuning is not

working properly try re-initializing it as follows:

1. Roll the trackball to choo the RANGE box at top left corner and then push the left or right

button as appropriate to choo the 48-mile range. Push the left button to lower the range; the

maximum. The arrow below the bar graph shows tuning control position; not the tuning

condition.

1.11 Aligning Heading with Gyrocompass

With connection of a gyrocompass, ship's heading is displayed at the right side of the screen. Upon

turning on the radar, align the on-screen GYRO readout with the gyrocompass reading by following

the procedure shown below. Once you have t the initial heading correctly, retting is not usually

required. However, if the GYRO readout looks wrong or the gyro alarm sounds, follow the procedure

below.

Note that the FURUNO SC-60/120 does not require alignment on the radar.

When the compass signal is lost, "HEADING SET" appears in red at the gyro readout, the

prentation mode automatically becomes head-up, all ARP and AIS targets and map or chart are

erad. After restoring the compass signal, choo the prentation mode with the [MODE] key or

the PRESENTATION MODE box.

The head-up mode is a display in which the line connecting own ship and the top of the display indicates own ship's

heading.

The target pips are painted at their measured distances and in their directions relative to own ship's heading.

A short line on the bearing scale is the north marker indicating heading nsor north. A failure of the heading nsor

input will cau the north marker to disappear and the readout to show ***.*° and the message HDG SIG MISSING

appears in red at the lower-right corner of the screen.

Cour-up mode航向向上模式

The cour-up mode is an azimuth stabilized display in which a line connecting the center with the

top of the display indicates own ship's intended cour (namely, own ship's previous heading just

before this mode has been lected).

Target pips are painted at their measured distances and in their directions relative to the intended

cour, which is maintained at the 0-degree position. The heading line moves in accordance with

Radar echoes are shown in the same way as in the head-up mode. The difference from normal

head-up prentation lies in the orientation of the bearing scale. The bearing scale is heading

nsor stabilized. That is, it rotates in accordance with the heading nsor signal, enabling you to

know own ship's heading at a glance.

物标显示与首向上模式相同。和普通首向上模式不同的是方位圈,该模式为首向信号稳定,根据首向信号而转

动,使船首线一目了然

This mode is available when the radar is interfaced with a gyro heading nsor. If the gyro heading

nsor fails, the bearing scale returns to the state of head-up mode.

当雷达连接了电罗经首向信号可以使用该模式,如果罗经信号不可用,自动转为首向上模式

North-up mode北向上模式

The north-up mode paints target pips at their measured distances and in their true (heading nsor)

directions from own ship, north bearing maintained at the top of the screen. The heading line

changes its direction according to the ship's heading. Requires heading signal.

北向上模式中,物标根据其与本船的位置和真方向标绘在屏幕上,正北方向保持在屏幕最上方。根据船舶的实

If the compass fails, the prentation mode changes to head-up and the north marker disappears.

When own ship reaches a point corresponding to 50% of the radius of the display, own ship position

is automatically ret to a point of 75% radius opposite to the extension of the heading line passing

through the display center. You may also ret the own ship symbol manually by pressing the

[CU/TM RESET] key, or roll the trackball to choo the CU/TM RESET box at the bottom right corner

of the display and then push the left button.

1.13 Entering Own Ship's Speed

输入本船速度

The ARP and azimuth stabilized prentation modes require own ship speed input and compass

signal. The speed can be entered from a log (STW) or GPS (SOG) or manually on the menu. Note

that FURUNO GPS Navigator GP-90 provides COG and SOG.

ARPA功能和方位稳定的显示模式需要输入本船船速和罗经信号,本雷达可输入计程仪船速、GPS船速

Notes on speed input速度输入的注意事项

• IMO Resolution A.823(19) for ARPA recommends that a speed log to be interfaced with an ARPA should

be capable of providing through-the-water speed (forward speed).

• Be sure not to choo a LOG option when a speed log is not connected- If the log signal is not provided,

the ship speed readout at the top of the screen will be blank. In the event of a log error, enter speed

manually.

• Warning label SPD **.* and LOG appear if no log signal is prent for 30 s while the ship's speed has been

The lected range scale, range ring interval and pul length are shown at the upper left corner on the screen. When a

target of interest comes clor, reduce the range scale so that it appears in 50-90% of the display radius.

1.16 Adjusting the Sensitivity

The gain control adjusts the nsitivity of the receiver.

The proper tting is such that the background noi is just visible on the screen. If you t up for too little

nsitivity, weak echoes may be misd. On the other hand excessive nsitivity yields too much

background noi; strong targets may be misd becau of the poor contrast between desired echoes

and the background noi on the display.

1.17 Suppressing Sea Clutter

抑制海浪杂波

Echoes from waves cover the central part of the display with random signals known as a clutter. The

higher the waves, and the higher the antenna above the water, the further the clutter will extend. When

a clutter masks the picture, suppress it by the A/C SEA control, either manually or automatically.

在显示中心附近随机产生的杂波信号叫做海浪杂波。海浪越高、天线越高,海浪杂波伸展越远。使用自动或手动的海

浪抑制抑制杂波。

1.17.2 Manual adjustment of A/C SEA

The A/C SEA control reduces the amplification of echoes at short ranges (where clutter is the greatest) and

progressively increas amplification as the range increas, so amplification will be normal at tho

ranges where there is no a clutter.

海浪抑制减少近程回波信号的放大,随距离的增加加大信号的放大,当没有海浪杂波时,信号放大恢复正常。

The proper tting of the A/C SEA should be such that the clutter is broken up into small dots, and small

targets become distinguishable. If the tting is t too low, targets will be hidden in the clutter, while if

the tting is too high, both a clutter and targets will disappear from the display. In most cas adjust

the control until clutter has disappeared to leeward, but a little is still visible windward.

The A/C RAIN control adjusts the receiver nsitivity as the A/C SEA control does but rather in a longer time period

(longer range)- The higher the tting the greater the anti-clutter effect. When echoes from precipitation mask solid

targets, adjust the A/C RAIN control to split up the unwanted echoes into a speckled pattern, making recognition

of solid targets easier.

1.19 Interference Rejector

同频干扰抑制

Mutual radar interference may occur in the vicinity of another shipborne radar operating in the same

frequency band. It is en on the screen as a number of bright spikes either in irregular patterns or in the

form of usually curved spoke-like dotted lines extending from the center to the edge of the picture.

Activating the interference rejector circuit can reduce this type of interference.

当附近存在使用相同频率的雷达时,会产生同频干扰。其显示为不规则型态的亮条或经常为弯曲的点状线从屏幕中心

向边缘延伸。开启同频干扰电路抑制这种现象。

The interference rejector is a kind of signal correlation circuit. It compares the received signals over

successive transmissions and suppress randomly occurring signals. There are three levels of

interference rejection depending on the number of transmissions that are correlated.

1.20 Measuring the Range

测量距离

The range to a target may be measured three ways: with the fixed range rings, with the cursor, or with

the VRM.

物标距离测量:固定距标圈、光标或活动距标圈

U the fixed range rings to obtain a rough estimate of the range to a target. They are the concentric solid

circles about own ship, or the sweep origin. The number of rings is automatically determined by the

lected range scale and their interval is displayed at the upper-left position of the screen. Count the

number of rings between the center of the display and the target. Check the range ring interval and judge

the distance of the echo from the inner edge of the nearest ring.

same geographical distance when you operate the [RANGE] key or the RANGE box. This means that

the apparent radius of the VRM ring changes in proportion to the lected range scale.

radar picture. The fine dashed line is the No. 1 EBL and the coar dashed one is the No. 2 EBL.

1.22 Collision Asssment by Offt EBL

The origin of the EBL can be placed anywhere with the trackball to enable measurement of range and

bearing between any targets. This function is also uful for asssment of the potential risk of

collision. It is possible to read CPA (Clost Point of Approach) by using a VRM as shown below

(Figure (a)). If the EBL pass through the sweep origin (own ship) as illustrated (Figure (b)), the target

ship is on a collision cour.

1.24 Setting a Target Alarm

The target alarm rves to alert the navigator to targets (ships, landmass, etc.) entering a t area,

with audible and visual alarms.

The guard alarm zone has a fixed width of 0.5 nm in the radial direction (depth) and is adjustable from

3.0 to 6.0 nm (guard zone 1) and any distance (guard zone 2). On the Non-IMO radar the boundaries

can be t at any distance. On any radar type the ctor of the zone can be t from 0 to 360 degrees in

any direction.

1.24.2 Acknowledging the target alarm

A target in the target alarm zone produces both visual (flashing) and audible (beep) alarms. To silence

the audible alarm, press the [ALARM ACK] key on the full keyboard or choo the appropriate ALARM

box and then push the left button. The ALARM box shows "ALARMx ACK." This will deactivate the

audible alarm but will not stop the flashing of the offending target. To reactivate the audible alarm,

press the [ALARM ACK] key again or choo the ALARM box and then push the left button. (When an

external buzzer is connected, the audible alarm does not stop until the alarm zone itlf is deactivated.)

The ALARM box shows "ALARMx WORK."

1.25 Off-Centering the Display

偏心显示

Own ship position, or sweep origin, can be displaced to expand the view field without switching to a

larger range scale. The sweep origin can be off-centered to the cursor position, but not more than 75%

of the range in u; if the cursor is t beyond 75% of the range scale, the sweep origin will be

off-centered to the point of 75% of the limit.

在不增加量程的情况下,本船位置或扫描中心偏心显示能增加显示范围。扫描中心可置于光标位置,但

不能大于75%的量程范围;如超出75%的范围,自动置于75%的极限范围

This feature is not available on the 72 nm {Non-IMO type only} or 96 nm range scale nor in the true

1.26 Echo Stretch

回波增强

The echo stretch feature enlarges targets to make them easier to e, and it is available on the 1.5-12

nm ranges depending on echo stretch type. There are 3 ttings: ES1 to enlarge in bearing direction

for long range detection, ES2 to enlarge in range direction and ESS to enlarge in bearing and range

directions.

回波增强功能使物标增大易于发现,基于回波增强的方式从1.512海里有效。三种设定:1、长距离增强方位方

向;2、增强距离方向;3、增强方位和距离方向

Note 1: If the 1.5 nm is pret with a pul length of S1 or S2, and the 3 nmscale with S2, the echo

stretch is not available on tho range scales.

Note 2: The echo stretch magnifies not only small target pips but also returns (clutter) from a surface,

rain and radar interference. For this reason, make sure the types of interference have been sufficiently

1.27 Echo Averaging

回波平均化

The echo average feature effectively suppress a clutter. Echoes received from stable targets such as ships appear

on the screen at almost the same position every rotation of the antenna. On the other hand, unstable echoes such as

a clutter appear at random positions.

回波平均化能有效的抑制海浪杂波。如船舶的稳定物标的回波在每一次天线扫描后显示几乎在相同位置,相反

不稳定回波出现在随机位置。

To distinguish real target echoes from a clutter, echoes are averaged over successive picture frames. If an echo is

solid and stable, it is prented in its normal intensity. Sea clutter is averaged over successive scans resulting in

reduced brilliance, making it easier to discriminate real targets from a clutter.

为了从海浪杂波中区分真回波,回波连续图像被平均后,如果回波稳定,形势正常的亮度,海量的不稳定回波

Note 1: Do not u the echo average function under heavy pitching and rolling; loss of target detection can result.

The trails of the radar echoes of targets may be displayed in the form of synthetic afterglow. Target trails

are chon either relative or true and may be a or ground stabilized. True motion trails require a

compass signal and own ship speed input.

1.28.1 True or relative trails

真尾迹、相对尾迹

You may display echo trails in true or relative motion (only true trail on TM). Relative trails show relative

movements between targets and own ship. True motion trails require a gyrocompass signal and own

ship speed input to cancel out own ship's movement and prent true target movements in accordance

with their over-the-ground speeds and cours.

Note: When true trail is lected on the RM mode, the TRAIL MODE box isshown in red. No

true-relative lection on TM; it is only True trails on TM mode.

Trail time, the trail plotting interval, may be chon as follows:

roll the wheel.) The longer the trail interval the longer the length of the target trail.

The maximum time for continuous plotting is 99:59. When the timer counts to 99:59, the timer is ret to zero, all

target trails are erad and then trails are restarted.

You may clear all target trails to restart the trail process. Target trails are cleared and the trailing process

1.28.5 Trail copy

尾迹复制

Trails are canceled and restarted whenever the range is changed. However, you may continue trails on

the same range, without restarting them, when the range is changed to a next larger or smaller range

scale.

当量程变化时,尾迹将删除并重启。使用尾迹复制可在量程变化时,保持上一个量程显示的尾迹

Note however that when the range is changed, only tho trails within the previous range are continued;

no trails are generated for targets outside the previous range.

1.29 Parallel Index Lines

Parallel index lines are uful for keeping a constant distance between own ship and a coastline or a

partner ship when navigating. Two index lines are available and any two may be displayed. You may

control the orientation and line interval.

1.30 Origin Mark

You can mark any prominent target or a point of particular interest using the origin mark feature. Twenty origin marks

may be entered: 10 standard origin marks (with number) and one each of the 10 symbol origin marks. The marks may

be geographically fixed (ground stabilized) or a stabilized. To display the origin marks, heading signal and own ship

position data are required.

1.31 Zoom

The zoom function enlarges an area of interest as large as twice the normal viewing size, in the text window. To

u the zoom display, it must be turned on in the DATA BOX menu. For further details, e paragraph 1.41.

1.32 Markers

1.32.1 Heading marker and heading line

The heading marker and the heading line indicate the ship's heading in all prentation modes. The

heading line is a line from the own ship position to the outer edge of the radar display area and appears

at zero degrees on the bearing scale in head-up mode; it changes the orientation depending on the ship

orientation in north-up and true motion modes. The heading marker is a small circle on the bearing scale

to indicate the heading when the display is off-centered or is in north-up or TM mode.

在所有显示模式中船首标和船首线显示船舶首向。在首向上模式中表现为从船舶中心向外延伸至向零度的直线;在

Temporarily erasing the heading line

To temporarily extinguish the heading line to look at targets existing dead ahead of own ship, press the

[HL OFF] key on the keyboard, or roll the trackball to choo the HL OFF box at the bottom left corner of

the display and then push the left button. In addition to the heading line, the stern marker and all graphics

within the effective display are also erad. To redisplay the heading line, etc., relea the key or the left

button.

at installation.

Each picture tup option defines a combination of veral radar ttings for achieving optimum tup for a

When a pret time interval has elapd, the audible watch alarm is relead. the screen label WATCH turns

red and the watch alarm timer freezes at "0:00." To silence the alarm, press the [ALARM ACK] key on the full

keyboard or roll the trackball to choo the ALARM ACK box and then push the left button. The label WATCH

turns to normal color and the watch alarm timer is ret to the initial value and starts the count-down quence

again.

Note: Wind and current data require appropriate nsors. Depth data requires appropriate

echo-sounding equipment. Wind vector shows a direction from which the wind blows in, relative to

own ship heading, and labeled "T *." Wind velocity is a true wind speed as a result of compensating

for own ship's speed and orientation. Ocean current (tide) is the direction to which the current is

flowing away own ship position, relative to north.

If an antenna is not powered, its data area is blank.

The interswitch function permits control of all antennas from any display, using an Ethernet In the antenna

system configuration shown above, for example, ANT1 can be controlled directly from DISPLAY-A, and

also can be controlled from other displays, via the Ethernet. Further, if ANT1 is out of order or its power has

been turned off, any display can switch to ANT2 or ANTS. The ANT INFORMATION display shows which

antennas can be ud. Refer to it to know antenna status.

方位分辨力是指雷达接收两个同距离并且接近的物标的回波点显示能区分出来的能力。它与天

线长度成正比而与波长成反比关系。辐射器天线的长度选择应该使方位分辨力好于2.5IMO

分辨力)。X-波段雷达辐射器需有1.2M4ft)或更长能满足这个条件,而S-波段雷达

则需12ft(3.6m)或更长。

距离分辨力

距离分辨力是指雷达接收两个同方位并且接近的物标的回波点显示能区分出来的能力。它仅

仅取决于脉冲宽度。实际上,一个0.08微秒脉冲的雷达能提供优于35M的距离分辨力。FURUNO

雷达也是如此。

用于测试雷达方位分辨力和距离分辨力的物标是反射面积为10M的雷达反射体。

方位精度

雷达最重要的性能之一就是它能测得目标的方位精确度。方位精确度的测量基本取决于雷达波束的窄

度。但是,方位通常是相对于船首向而言的,因此,在安装时正确调整是一个确保方位精度的重要因

素。为了尽量减小目标的方位测量误差,可选择合适量程把目标回波置于屏幕的极端处。

距离测量

距离测量也是雷达一个非常重要的功能。通常,测量距离有两种方式:固定距标圈和活动距标(VRM

固定距标圈以等距离间隔显示在屏幕上,从而可对目标距离进行大致的估计。活动距标可增大和缩小

至目标的内缘,从而得到更精确的距离。

2.2 假回波

偶而回波信号出现在本来没有目标的位置或本来有目标回波却消失。这就是假回波。

辩别它们,先要了解它们产生的原因。下面是些典型的假回波。

多次回波

当脉冲从固体物体如大船、桥梁,或者防波堤反射回来时就会出现多次回波。通过减小

增益或者正确调整海浪抑制可减少和去除多次回波。

Sidelobe echoes(翻译略)

Every time the radar pul is transmitted, some radiation escapes on each side of

the beam, called "sidelobes." If a target exists where it can be detected by the side

lobes as well as the main lobe, the side echoes may be reprented on both sides of

the true echo at the same range. Side lobes show usually only on short ranges and

from strong targets. They can be reduced through careful reduction of the gain or

proper adjustment of the A/C SEA control.

虚像

一个相对大的物标接近你的船舶时,可能会产生两个回波。其中一个回波是直接

由目标反射回来的真回波,另一个则是由大物标作为镜子反射而成的假回波。如

2.3 SART ()

2.3.1 SART 描述()

SART 能被X-波段(3CM)雷达在约8NM范围内触发。may be triggered by any

X-Band (3 cm) radar within a range of approximately 8 nm. Each radar pul received

caus it to transmit a respon which is swept repetitively across the complete radar

frequency band. When interrogated, it first sweeps rapidly (0.4 us) through the band

before beginning a relatively slow sweep (7.5 us) through the band back to the

starting frequency. This process is repeated for a total of twelve complete cycles. At

some point in each sweep, the SART frequency will match that of the interrogating

radar and be within the pass band of the radar receiver. If the SART is within range,

the frequency match during each of the 12 slow sweeps will produce a respon on

the radar display, thus a line of 12 dots equally spaced by about 0.64 nautical miles

will be shown.

When the radar to the SART is reduced to about 1 nm, the radar display my show

also the 12 respons generated during the fast sweeps. The additional dot

respons, which also are equally spaced by 0.64 nautical miles, will be intersperd

with the original line of 12 dots. They will appear slightly weaker and smaller than the

original dots.

2.3.2 Showing SART marks on the radar display

This radar is equipped with a feature which optimally ts up the radar for SART

detection. This feature automatically detunes the radar receiver out of its best

tuning condition. This eras or weakens all normal radar echoes, but the SART

marks are not erad becau the SART respon signal scans over all

frequencies in the 9 GHz band. When the radar approaches the SART in

operation, the SART marks will enlarge to large arcs, blurring a large part of the

screen to To t up for SART detection do the following:

5. Push the right button twice to clo the menu.

"SART appears at the bottom of the display when this feature is active. Be sure to

turn off the SART feature when SART detection is no longer your objective.

2.3.3 General remarks on receiving SART

SART range errors

When respons from only the 12 low frequency sweeps are visible (when the SART is

at a range greater than about 1 nm), the position at which the first dot is displayed may

be as much as 0.64 nm beyond the true position of the SART. When the range clos so

that the fast sweep respons are en also, the first of the will be no more than 150

meters beyond the true position.

Radar bandwidth

This is normally matched to the radar pullength and is usually switched with the range

scale and the associated pullength. Narrow bandwidths of 3-5 MHz are ud with long

puls on long range scales and wide bandwidths of 10-25 MHz with short puls on

short ranges.

A radar bandwidth of less than 5 MHz will attenuate the SART signal slightly, so it is

preferable to u a medium bandwidth to ensure optimum detection of the SART.

Radar side jobes

As the SART is approached, side lobes from the radar antenna may show the SART

respons as a ries of arcs or concentric rings. The can be removed by the u of

the anti-clutter a control although it may be operationally uful to obrve the side

lobes as they may be easier to detect in clutter conditions and also they will confirm that

the SART is near to own ship.

RACON

A RACON is a radar beacon which emits radar receivable signals in the radar frequency

spectrum (X- or S-band). There are veral signal formats; in general, the RACON

signal appears on the radar screen as a rectangular echo originating at a point just

beyond the position of the radar beacon. It has a Mor coded pattern. Note that the

position on the radar display is not accurate.

3 ARP 操作

3.1 使

此功能同时满足IMO关于ARPATA的要求。限于篇幅,此使用手册仅述ARP

ARP的标绘精度和响应符合IMO标准。

航迹跟踪精度受下列因素影响:

航迹跟踪精度航向改变影响。在一次突然改向后需一至两分钟才能恢复矢量显示

精度。(实际时间取决于罗经的性能)

跟踪延迟的时间与目标的相对速度成反比。高的相对速度通常为1530秒的延迟时间,

低速则为3060秒。

ARP所得数据仅供参考。详见正式航海海图和更新信息。

在波束或回路方向所测得大于800M的目标会被认作陆地而不对其跟踪,小于800M

的回波才被认为目标进行跟踪。

3.2 ARP 操纵

1. 键盘

ARP 操纵可用如下键盘:

TARGET CANCEL: 取消鼠标所选目标

ACQ: 手动捕捉目标.

ARP 需要本船速度和首向数据。速度可以是 STW, BT, SOG 或回波参考速度(3

最大的静止物体为基础). 手动输入也可以。

要自动输入或手动输入,见章节1.13. 要以回波参考速度输入见下列步骤.

3.4.1 回波参考速度输入

在下列情况下,推荐使用回波参考速度:

速度计算仪不能工作或不能与雷达相连时.

船舶没有可测量风压运动的设备(多普勒声纳,速度计算仪等),而风压运动不能被

忽略时

一旦你选择回波参考速度,ARP将以相对一个固定参考目标来计算本轮的速度,这参

考目标可以是一、二、三个,它们以被跟踪的目标形式出现,每个都会显示一个小圆圈。

当选好一组目标后,其平均值即被用作稳定速度。I

注意当AIS作用时这项特性就不能使用

1. 将鼠标移至有效显示区域内,滚动转轮至提示框显示 " REF MARK / EXIT"

2. 选择一个固定小岛或者任何距本船0.224NM内突出点

4.点击左键以输入参考标志(此标志也可以通过按键盘上 [ENTER MARK] 键得

参考目标标志在光标位置出现(见下),同时本轮位置标志由 "LOG," "NAV"

"MANUAL"变为 "REF." 注意在新速度出现前要60次扫描的时间或约1分钟。如果参

考目标跟踪失败,该目标会被标上丢失目标的标志(两个三角形符号)

5. 重复步骤2-4 继续输入参考标志. 可输入3个。

通过参考目标输入速度注意事项

当参考目标丢失或出了捕获范围时,参考目标标志会闪烁,同时速度显示为 "**.*."

此时应选择其它参考目标

当所有目标被删除时,参考目标也被删除,从而参考速度失效。速度单位变为 KTBT ,这里 BT

是指 Bottom Track (对地速度).

参考目标可以被标有矢量,通过ARP TARGET菜单中的 3 REF TARGET VECTOR做到

取消参考目标速度输入

打开SPD 菜单,参见章节1.13, 设置1 SHIP SPEED LOG, NAV MANUAL

3.6.2 手动捕捉一个目标

1. 将光标至于有效显示位置,滚动转轮至提示框显示 "TARGET DATA & ACQ" or

"ACQ"

2. 移动鼠标将光标至于你想捕捉的目标上.

3. 点击左键捕捉目标.

在初始捕捉时期,标绘符号是由虚线构成的,大约1分钟后,矢量将显示出目标的运动趋势,

在持续3分钟探测后,标绘符号将变成一个实线圈,如果捕捉失败,目标标绘符号闪烁并在

短期内消失.

注意1:要成功捕获一个目标,它应该在距本船0.2 32 nm 内并且不被海浪或雨雪隐藏.

注意2: 当手动捕捉的限量到达时,信息“TARGET-FULL(MAN)”在屏幕底部显示,还要捕

捉其它目标时,必须手动取消一些无威胁的目标

警惕目标跳换

当一个被跟踪的目标迫近另一个跟踪的目标时,可能出现目标跳换,不

管两个目标是手动捕获的还是自动捕获的,其中一个可能变成丢失目标,一旦

此情况发生,应该在两目标错开后,再手动捕捉.

ARP 模式提供 IMO Resolution A.823(19) IEC 60972-1要求的所有功能,包

括显示所有已标绘的目标的距离、方位、航向、航速、CPATCPA.

head-up head-up true bearing 模式时,目标方位、航向、航速根据矢量

设置为真矢量或相对矢量而显示为真矢量或相对矢量,在north-up, cour-up

true motion 模式时,目标数据总是显示真方位,真航向和对地速度.

2. 滚动转轮选择1 ARP SELECT. 并点击左键

3. 滚动转轮依次选择MANUAL 100, AUTO 25, AUTO 50 AUTO 75并点击左键

3.8.1 显示单个目标数据

用键盘

移动鼠标光标至欲得ARP目标上,并按[ TARGET DATA] 键,目标形状将变成一个正

方形,取消数据则再次按下该键。

用鼠标

1. 将光标至于有效位置,滚动转轮至提示框显示" TARGET DATA & ACQ / CURSOR

MENU"

2. 移动鼠标将光标至于你想读取的目标上并点击左键.

3. 要从数据框中删去目标数据,选择该目标并点击左键。

目标数据显示如下:

RNG/BRG: 距本船的距离和相对或真方位。

CSE/SPD: 所选目标的航向和航速(真或相对)

CPA/TCPA: CPA TCPA是自动计算所得。当驶过本船后,和TCPA会显示“-”号

TCPA计至99.9分钟,当超过时,将显示TCPA> -99.9MIN.

BCR/BCT: BCR 是所选目标预计过本船船首的最近距离。 BCT 是预计过本轮船首的

时间。

BRG: Bearing from own ship to target in R (Relative) or T (True)

RNG: Range from own ship to target

COG: Cour of target over ground. True or Relative

SOG: Speed of target over ground

CPA: Clost Point of Approach of target to own ship

TCPA:TimetoCPA

BCR: Bow crossing range of target

BCT: Bow crossing time of target

你可在一个数据框中显示两个目标数据,总共显示6个,欲知更多,见章节1.41.

3.8.2 目标明细表

目标明细表能提供所有被跟踪的ARPAIS)目标全面数据。

要显示目标明细表,按如下操作:

1. 移动鼠标选择屏幕右边的TARGET LIST

2. 点击左键显示TARGET LIST. ">" TCPA中表示时间大于 99:59.

3. 当超过3个目标时要退出明细表,选择 0 NEXT并点击左键。

注意: 要更新数据,选择9 REFRESH DATA 并点击左键,当分类方式改变时,

更新数据是不必要的,因为分类方式改变时,数据会自动更新。a

4. 点击右键关闭列表。

你能通过CPA, TCPA, BCR, BCT, RANGE SPEED 按如下距离圈给目标明细表分类: 72

3.9 矢量模式

目标矢量能显示为相对矢量和真矢量

3.9.1 矢量描述

对地速度和对水速度(矢量)

目标矢量可以是对地矢量和对水矢量。对水矢量是指所有目标和本船矢量根据罗经航

向和以真运动模式输入单轴水流速度参考所得,对地矢量是本船及所有目标使用跟踪

地面或设置漂流值而得的,如果精度不够,进行设置和输入流压修正,但显示AIS目标

是不应进行。

真矢量

在真运动模式中,所有固定目标如陆地、航标和抛锚船在屏幕上都保持静止,矢量长度

为零。但是当有风和/或流存在时,固定目标上将相应显示与之方向相反的矢量,除非

进行适当的流压差设置。

相对矢量

对地不动的目标如陆地、航标和抛锚船的相对矢量显示为本轮对地矢量的相反值。目

标矢量延长线通过本轮,则意味着有碰撞危险。

3.9.2 矢量运动和长度

矢量显示可为真运动和相对运动。矢量时间(或矢量长度)可设置为30秒,123

6121530分钟。

使

1. [VECTOR MODE] 键可选择真运动和相对运动,作出的选择会在Vector motion

框中显示(注意过去位置显示选择也会显示在这框中)

2. 持续按[VECTOR TIME]健对矢量时间进行选择,作出的选择会在vector length

中显示 (见下面图示).

使用鼠标

1. 移动鼠标至屏幕右边的VECTOR TRUE VECTOR REL

2. 点击左键依次显示VECTOR TRUE VECTOR REL

3. 移动鼠标选择vector time .

4. 点击左键显示所需时间。

矢量尖端能显示矢量时间经过后的大致位置,所以延伸矢量长度来估计与其它目标的

碰撞危险是可行的。

3.10 经过位置显示

1 每分钟(或其它的等时间间隔)增加一个点直到预设数字到达为止,如果目标改速的

ARP 可显示任何已被跟踪目标的等时、等间距的过去位置的点状标志

话,间距将不再均匀,如果改向,它标绘的就不是一条直线。

3.10.1 显示和删去经过位置点,选择经过位置点的标绘间隔

1. 移动鼠标选择在屏幕右边的PAST POSN

2. 点击左键选择所需标绘间隔OFF, 30 , 1, 2,3 6 分钟,选择OFF为消除显示。

3.10.2 经过位置显示属性

你可选择经过位置点每一个标绘间隔的数量也可选择经过位置点的颜色。

1. 移动鼠标选择在屏幕右边的MENU 框并点击左键

2. 移动光标至4 ARP-AIS 并点击左键。

3. 移动光标至5 [ARP SYMBOL] 并点击左键

流压向即水流方向可以每次0.1的步幅手动输入,流压即潮流速度亦可以每次0.1的步幅手

动输入。

流压差修正对提高目标矢量精度有益。参考船上的潮汐表,可得到相关信息。这适用于所有目标。如

果静止目标有矢量,说明流压差修正还需调整,直至无矢量。

按如下方法输入流压差:

1. 移动鼠标至SPD 框并点击右键

2. 移动光标至3 SET DRIF并点击左键

3. 移动光标至ON并点击左键

4. 点击右键关闭菜单,同时,SET and DRIFT 框将在右上部显示

3.12 设置CPA/TCPA报警范围

ARP 持续跟踪目标距本轮的CPATCPA。当

实际CPATCPA小于报警值时,ARP会发出声响

报警,并在屏幕上显示报警标志COLLISION

另外,ARP符号会变成一个三角,并且闪烁的带

矢量的形状。

如果这个功能使用正确的话,能帮助你预防有威胁

船舶的碰撞危险,正确调整 GAIN, A/C SEA,

A/C RAIN 和其它控钮也是非常重要的。

CPA/TCPA 报警范围的设置应正确考虑到本船

的尺寸、吨位、速度、旋回要素及其它特性。

注意: CPA/TCPA 计算参考点可选择天线位置或是驾驶台,详见章节1.50

3.12.1 设置CPA/TCPA报警范围

按如下操作设置CPA/TCPA 报警范围:

1. 移动鼠标至CPA LIMIT box. 如果显示 "CPA LIMIT OFF" 则点击左键显示CPA

and TCPA boxes.

2. 选择CPA LIMIT box 并点击左键在 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 3,4, 5, 6(nm)内选择

3. TCPA limit box.

移动鼠标至

4. 点击左键选择TCPA 数值: 1,2,3,4,5,6, 12,15{分钟}, 滚轮: 1-60 分钟, 每一

增量为1分钟。

3.12.2 确认CPA/TCPA 报警

确认并将CPA/TCPA报警静音,[ALARM ACK] 键,或用鼠标选择ACK box并点

击左键

警告标志COLLISION和闪烁的三角标绘符号及矢量会一直出现在屏幕上,直至危险情

况已过,或者你有意的终止目标跟踪。

注意,当COLLISION报警产生时,AIS显示会自动打开。

3.13 设置警戒区

当目标经过警戒区

时,蜂鸣器会响起,GUARD (红色)出现在屏幕底部。引起报警的目标会显示一个闪烁的

倒三角形符号。当自动捕捉功能可用时,警戒区也为自动捕捉区域,任何进入警戒区的目标

都会被自动捕获。

3.13.1 激活警戒区

可选择一或二个警戒区。一号警戒区在3-6NM范围内可用,二号警戒区则在一号警戒区

已经使用的情况下,可设置在任何位置。ARP/AIS 警戒区线是蓝色的虚线,区别于雷

达的警戒报警。

以下例演示如何设置警戒区:

目标已满报警

当内存已满时,此状态会以“TARGET-FULL(AUTO+MAN)”字样显示在屏幕上,并

必出短嘟嘟声。

手动捕捉目标

手动捕捉目标数量已达设置的上限时,显示 "TARGET-FULL(MAN)" 出现在屏幕底部并

发出短嘟嘟声。

系统故障报警

SPU板不能从雷达或外接设备得到信号时,屏幕显示"ARP SYSTEM ERROR"表明

设备有障,同时发出声响警报。丢失信号显示如下:

试操船功能是模拟操船后,知道已跟踪目标对本轮的影响,而且试操船并不中断更新

目标信息,这适用于有ARPA功能的雷达,ATA雷达则不行。T

有两种试操船类型:动态和静态

动态试操船

动态试操船显示本轮和已跟踪目标的预知位置。输入本船的计划航向航速及一定的延迟

时间, 假设所有目标保持当前航向航速,目标和全船的将来动态会以一分钟的间隔及

二分之一的增量如下图显示。

延迟时间是指从当前时间至本船实际改变航向或航速。因此你应该考虑至本船的操纵特

性如舵的延迟性、旋回延迟、加速度延迟,对大船尤为重要。情况一开始和结束就应立

即设置延迟时间。

以如下为例,本船将持续直线前进5分钟(即使在操纵后)直至改变的航向航速已达到

操作者预想的数值(这个例中,OS7即为这个位置)

注意,一旦动态试操船已经启动,你将不能改变本轮的试操航向、航速、延迟时间,

直至试操结束。

静态试操船

静态试操船仅显示模拟操作的最终情形。如果在上面动态试操船例中输入同样的航向航

速和延迟时间,屏幕上将立即显示本轮位置即为OS7。目标A的位置为A7,目标B的位

置为B7,跳过了中间环节。因此,如果你想立即知道操纵后的结果,静态试操船更方

便一点

注意: 为了使试操船更精确,在安装时,本轮的船舶特性如加速度,旋回要素均应在

初始设置时正确设置。

3.15.2 实施试操船

按如下做法进行试操船:

在屏幕底部出现字母“T”后,需三分钟试操船开始。如果已跟踪的船舶预计与本船有碰撞危

(即目标CPA/TCPA小于预设值)它的符号将变成一个闪烁的三角形。改变试操的航向、航速、

延迟时间以得到安全状态。试操船在三分钟后自动终止,正常的雷达图像也会自动恢复。

3.15.3 终止试操船

试操船在开始三分钟后自动终止,要手动终止,可按如下步骤:

1. 移动鼠标选择屏幕右边的TRIAL

2. 点击左键并按住直至显示TRIAL OFF.

注意:要终止试操船功能,按章节3.15.25步选择OFF并点击左键.

3.16 ARP 性能测试

测试程序可用于全面评估ARP性能。在测试过程中,正常操作暂停,在有效显示区

域底部出现"XX" 字样。测试可能会在任何时间终止。

3.17 选择目标跟踪的标准(翻译略)

THE FURUNO ARP video processor detects targets in midst of noi and

discriminatesradar echoes on the basis of their size. Target who echo measurements

are greater than tho of the largest ship in range or tangential extent are usually land

and are displayed only as normal radar video. All smaller ship-sized echoes which are

less than this dimension are further analyzed and regarded as ships and displayed as

small circles superimpod over the video echo.

When a target is first displayed, it is shown as having zero true speed but Is X develops a

cour vector as more information is collected. In accordance with the International Marine

Organization Automatic Radar Plotting Aid (IMO ARP) requirements, an indication of the

motion trend should be available within 20scans of antenna and full vector accuracy within 60

scans. The FURUNO ARPs comply with the requirements.

Acquisition and tracking

:

A target which is hit by five concutive radar puls is detected as a radar echo.

Manual acquisition is done by designating a detected echo with the trackball.

Automatic acquisition is done in the acquisition areas when a target is detected h 5-7

times continuously depending upon the congestion. Tracking is achieved when the

target is clearly distinguishable on the display for 5 out of 10 concutive scans

whether acquired automatically or manually. Required

tracking facilities are available within 0.1-32 nm on range scales including 3, 6,

12 nm, full plotting information is available within one scan when the range scale

has been changed.

Targets not detected in five concutive scans become "lost targets."

Quantization

The entire picture is converted to a digital from called "Quantized Video." A sweep

range is divided into small gments and each range element is 1" if there is radar

echo return above a threshold level, or "0" if there is no return.

The digital radar signal is then analyzed by a ship-sized echo discriminator. As the

antenna scans, if there are five concutive radar puls with 1 's indicating an echo

prence at the exact same range, a target "start" is initiated. Since receiver noi is

random, it is not three-bang correlated, and it is filtered out and not classified as an

echo.

The same is true of radar interference. Electronic circuits track both the clot and

most distant edges of the echo. At the end of the scanning of the echo, the

discriminator indicates the measured maximum range extent and total angular extent

subtended by the echo. If the echo is larger than a ship-sized echo in range extent

and/or angular width, adjusted as a function of range, it is declared to be a coastline

and the clot edge is put into memory as a map of the area.

This land outline is ud to inhibit further acquisition and tracking of ship-sized echoes beyond

the clost coast outline. Five concutive scans of coastal outline are retained in memory to

allow for signal variation. All smaller echoes are declared to be ship sized and the middle of the

leading edge is ud to provide preci range and bearing coordinates of each echo on every

scan. This range/bearing data is matched to previous data and analyzed from scan-to-scan for

consistency. When it is determined to be as consistent as a real target, automatic acquisition

occurs and tracking is initiated. Continued tracking and subquent calculation develop the

relative cour and speed of the target.

The true cour and speed of own ship are computed from own ship's gyro and

speed inputs, and the resulting cour and speed of each tracked target is easily

computed by vector summing of the relative motion with own ship's cour and

speed. The resulting true or relative vector is displayed for each of the tracked

targets. This process is updated continually for each target on every scan of the

radar.

Qualitative description of tracking error

The FURUNO ARP accuracy complies with or exceed IMO standards.

Own ship maneuvers

For slow turns there is no effect. For very high turning rates (greater than 150°/minute, depending

on gyro), there is some influence on all tracked targets which last for a minute or two and then all

tracked targets revert to full accuracy.

Other ship maneuvers

Target ship cours, lag 15 to 30 conds at high relative speed, or 3 to 6 conds at low (near

0) relative speed. It is (ess accurate during a turn due to lag,

but accuracy recovers quickly.

3.18 影响ARP功能的因素(翻译略)

Sea returns

If the radar anti-clutter control is adjusted properly, there is no rious effect becau distant

wave clutter, not eliminated by this control, is filtered out by more than one bang correlation

and scan-to-scan matching of data.

Rain and snow

Clutter can be acquired and tracked as targets. Adjust the A/C RAIN control. If it

is heavy rain, switch to S-band if provided, or switch on the interference rejector

on the radar. If heavy clutter still exists, switch to manual acquisition. Accuracy

can be affected.

LOW ClOUdS

Usually no effect. If necessary, adjust the A/C RAIN control.

Non-synchronous emissions

No effect.

Low gain

Insufficient or low radar receiver gain wilt result in some targets not being

acquired at long distance. ARP display will be missing on one or more targets visible

if the radar nsitivity control (GAIN control) were incread.

The tting of the correct radar receiver gain is not critical but the target should be on

the radar PPI and be clearly visible and well defined.

Manual acquisition is done if a target is positively displayed more than once.

Automatic acquisition is done when the target is detected 5-7 times continuously.

Tracking is achieved when the target is detected five times (not necessarily

continuously) out of 10 scans. If not detected six times out of 10 scans, the target

will become a "lost target." The ARP will acquire a radar echo that is prent once in

every six antenna scans and continue tracking if 1 in 10.

Second trace echoes

When the radar beam is super refracted, strong echoes may be received at such

long ranges that they appear on a different timeba sweep than the transmitted

pul. This gives an incorrect range indication. Second and third trace echoes can

be tracked if they are consistent enough to meet acquisition and tracking criteria but

target cour and speed data will be in error.

Blind and shadow ctors -

Radar shadow or blind areas caud by obstructions aboard ship, for example, funnels and

masts, in the path of the radar beam can result in reduction of radar beam intensity in that

particular direction. This may eliminate the detection of some targets. The ARP system will lo

track of targets shortly after they are lost on the radar picture and if they remain in a blind zone.

The targets will however be acquired and tracked when they pass out of the blind zone and

(

again prent normal radar echo. The angular width and bearing of any shadow ctor should

be determined for their influence on the radar. In certain cas fal echoes in the shadow

ctor cau the ARP system to acquire, track, and vector them. Shadow ctors should be

avoided.

FURUNOAIS (Automatic Identification System) FA-100型号能按SOLAS 1994 补充要

求与其它适合AIS的船舶设备交换数据和信息,但是,它们是以文本形式显示,通过这

台雷达与FA100相连,AIS信息能和ARP信息一起以图形形式出现在雷达上.

这台雷达以WGS84模式接收位置数据,EPFS (GPS)上须设置为WGS84与之

相连,如果输入的是其它类型,错误信息"DATUM"出现,并且AIS功能不能使用.

4.9 过去位置显示

已激活的目标过去位置以等间隔的圆点形式显示,每一预设时间增加一个点。直至预

设数量点到达为止,如果目标改速的话,间隔将不再均匀。如果目标改向的话,标绘

航向将不是一直线。

4.10 已丢失目标

当一个目标六分钟或五个报告间隔内不能提供数据时,宣告为已丢失目标。同时,此

目标被标有已丢失目标符号(闪烁)并且“LOST”字样显现。按[ALARM ACK]键或

移动鼠标选择ALARM ACK框并点击左键以确知丢失目标。

注意 1: 当确知一个带有ARPA标志的AIS丢失目标果,ARPA丢失目标也会被删除。

注意

2: AIS 数据传送取决于目标的速度。例如:航速014节的目标每10

发射一次,超过23节则每2秒发射一次,详见AIS操作手册。

4.11 ROT 设置

你可设置目标用于显示船舶转向的船首向符号的ROT(转向率)的下限。

4.12 Fusion of ARP and AIS Targets

An AlS-equipped ship is usually displayed by two symbols on the radar display. This is

becau the AIS ship position is measured by a GPS navigator (L/L) on that ship

whereas the radar detects the same ship by PPI principle (range and bearing relative

to own ship radar antenna).

To avoid the prentation of two target symbols for the same physical target, the

1. Confirm that the ARP ACQ MODE box shows AUTO or AUTO MANU.

2. Roll the trackball to choo the MENU box and then push the left button.

3. Roll the wheel to choo 4 ARP»AIS and then push the left button.

4. Roll the wheel to choo 7 FUSION! and then push the left button.

5. Roll the wheel to choo FUSION TARGET and then push the wheel.

7. Enter the information below, pushing the wheel (or the [MARK ENTER] key)

after entering each data. This information will be ud to determine which

ARPA targets to convert.

GAP: Range between AIS target and ARP target.

RANGE: Enter the range difference from own ship to AIS target and ARP

target, (tting range: 0.000-0.999(nm))

BEARING: Enter the bearing difference from own ship to AIS target and

ARPA target, (tting range: 0.0-9.9(°))

SPEED: Enter the speed difference between AIS target and ARP target.

8. Push the right button three times to clo the menu.

When the fusion criteria is met, the ARP symbol is erad and only the AIS symbol is

displayed. Further, "ARPA FUSION" appears at the bottom right corner of the display at the

time of conversion and the ARP target no. appears next to the AIS symbol. An ARP target

who speed is less than 1 kt is converted to an AIS target if it meets all criteria other than

cour.

使用DISPLAY MODE 选择模式。(当图像标绘模式显示超过5秒钟时,雷达自动转

为待机状态)

注意 1: 当菜单被打开时,显示模式不能被选择,要选择必须先关闭菜单)

5.3 图像模式

共五种图像模式可用:北向上、航向向上、艏向上、艏向上(真方位)和北向上(真

雷达海图可有3000个数据点。海图数据可储存而方便重复使用于航线航行区域。操作

者可在使用雷达航行时即时制作海图,也可在抛锚或不用雷达的空闲时间制作。海图

位置可制作于本船实际位置外的任何水域。

雷达海图功能只可用于非IMO雷达的型号上。所有雷达功能都可从雷达显示上调取,

要选择雷达显示,使用鼠标选择DISPLAY MODE 框并点击左键以显示"RADAR."

5.5.1 删除单个雷达海图和线

1. 将光标置于有效位置,滚动转轮至提示框显示"MARK DELETE / EXIT

2. 移动鼠标将光标置于你欲删除的标注或线上

3. 点击左键删除所选标注或线

注意: 当删除线时,光标位置决定删除的方式。删除单统线段,将光标置于此线的

起始点或终止点,要删除两个连续有线段,则将光标置于此两线的中间点。

"MAN ALIGNED" 字样从屏幕上消失即可。

5.7 海图卡

5.7.1 Displaying a chart

To display a chart:

1. Inrt a chart card in either of the two card slots in the Card I/F Unit

CU-200.

2. Press the [POWER] button on the control unit to turn the power on.

With the radar in transmit status, choo the radar display NU, CU,

TM modes only) or the radar/video plotter display to display the chart.

To display a chart after the power has been turned on, change the range

by pressing the [RANGE+] or [RANGE-] key or operating the RANGE box.

5.7.2 Chart position correction

There may be a ca where the chart overlay is not aligned with the radar

image. This is due to an error in the position fixing system {GPS, Loran,

etc.) or the different coordinates between the position fixing system and

the radar In this ca, align the chart with the radar image as below.

1. With the cursor inside the effective display area, roll the wheel to

display "CHART ALIGN L=OFF / EXIT" in the guidance box.

2. Operate the trackball to align the chart with the radar map. Note that

track is neither recorded nor displayed at this point.

3. Push the left button to t. "CHARTALIGN" appears (in red) at the

right side of the screen.

To relea the chart position correction, display "CHARTALIGN

L=OFF / EXIT in the guidance box and then push the left button until

"CHARTALIGN" disappears from the screen.

5.7.3 Correcting cursor data

1. Roll the trackball to choo the MENU box at the right side of the

screen and then push the left button.

2. Roll the wheel to choo 5 PLOTTER and then push the left button.

3. Roll the wheel to choo 7 CURSOR L/L ALIGN and then push the

wheel or the left button.

4. Roll the wheel to choo ON and then push the wheel or the left

button. "ALIGN" appears (in red) next to cursor position in the cursor

data box. (To remove the correction, choo OFF. If you are using

theAlS function, choo ON.)

5. Push the right button twice to clo the menu.

5.7.4 Chart land color

You may choo the color for the land on charts as follows:

1. Roll the trackball to choo the MENU box at the right side of the

screen and then push the left button.

2. Roll the wheel to choo 5 PLOTTER and then push the left button.

3. Roll the wheel to choo 2 CHART COLOR and then push the left

button or the wheel.

4. Choo color desired and push the wheel or the left button.

5. Push the right button twice to clo the menu.

5.8 Hiding/Showing Graphics on the Video

Plotter Display

1. Roll the trackball to choo the MENU box at the right side of the

screen and then push the left button.

2. Roll the wheel to choo 5 PLOTTER and then push the wheel or

the left button.

3. Roll the wheel to choo 9 [DISPLAY] and then push the wheel or

the left button. Roll the wheel to choo an item and then push the

wheel or the left button. To go to page 2, choo 0 NEXT and then

push the wheel or the left button. You may return to page 1 by

choosing 1 BACK and pressing the wheel or the left button.

4. Push the wheel to choo OFF or ON as appropriate.

Note: LAND DENSITY fills (ON) or hollows (OFF) land on an electronic

chart. Land will be hollow when wrong card or wrong scale is

ud, regardless of LAND DENSITY tting.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to t other items.

6. Push the right button three or four times to clo the menu

depending on which page of the DISPLAY menu you are using.

显示内部航行线

1. 移动鼠标选择MENU

2. 移动鼠标选择8 [NAV LINE-WPT]

3. 移动鼠标选择2 NAV LINE DATA

4. 移动鼠标选择INTERNAL DATA

并点击左键

6. 使用滚轮输入欲显示的航线编号:滚动转轮选择相应数字并点击左键。注意以前显

示的航线编号不能被输入。

7. 要跳入下一个转向点,2 SKIP NEXT WPT 并点击左键

显示外部的航线i

从外部航海仪器来的航线按如下可以显示:(显示其它仪器的航线,必须有RTEWPL)

2) 4 DSP WPT NO(NAV菜单第二页)设置欲显示的转向点编号

3) 3 TURNING LINE (NAV菜单第二页)设置转向线

6. 点击右键二或三次关闭菜单(取决于此菜单在第一页还是第二页)

转向点标志

转向点标志显示设置在仪器上的目的转向点位置。你可按如下程序在雷达上标注这个位置。。

1. 移动鼠标选择MENU

并点击左键

2. 移动鼠标选择8 [NAV LINE'WPT]

并点击左键

3. 移动鼠标选择2 NAV LINE DATA

并点击左键

4. 移动鼠标选择WPT MARK.

并点击左键

5. 点击右键二次关闭菜单

5.14 记录数据

5.14.1 记忆卡(RAM)初始化

要记录或回放数据,必须有可选卡I/F Unit CU-200CU-200有两个卡槽,你可接两组设

备。所以共可有4个卡槽。

使用记忆卡(RAM)前必须对其初始化。格式化其记录面,并删除记忆卡中的所有数据。

你可格式化你以前用过的记忆卡,但是以前有的数据也全被删除。

1. 将空白记忆卡插入Card I/F Unit卡槽中

2. 移动鼠标选择MENU

并点击左键

3. 移动鼠标选择6 [CARD] . (注意:CARD菜单内,WR意味“写入”)

4. 移动鼠标选择2 DRIVE SELECT

Note: If one unit is connected the drives are, from the left drive on the unit,

当记忆已满时,最老一条航迹会自动被删除以将空间给最新一个。此外,当记忆已满时,

除非删除不必要的标志、航线或航迹,否则不能输入其它标志,因而你应该将重要数据

储存到记忆卡中,这样不至于丢失重要数据。

7. 使用转轮和左键输入文件标题,最多可用7个阿拉伯数字

8. 在输入文件名的最后一个数字后,所选项开始被记录。

在记录(录制)过程中,信息“WR CARD DATA”会被显示。

5.15 重放数据

图像标绘数据(航迹、标志等)可以在屏幕上重放,这对分析过去数据很有用。

4. 移动鼠标选择相应驱动器点击左键
