目标制定的依据:
一、对于九年级的学生来说,应达到课程标准的五级目标。本节课是阅读课,
课程标准的相关要求有:
读 1.能根据上下文和构词法推断,理解生词的含义;
2.能理解段落中各句子之间的逻辑关系;
3.能找出文章中的主题,理解故事情节,预测故事情节的发展和可能的结局;
4.能根据不同的阅读目的运用简单的阅读策略获取信息。
说 1.能就简单的话题提供信息,表达简单的观点和意见,参与讨论;
2.能与他人沟通信息,合作完成任务;
3.能在口头表达中进行适当的自我修正;
4.能用英语表演故事,能在口语活动中语音,语调自然,语气恰当。
二、教材分析
通过本单元前面几个课时的学习,学生已经有了一个开放的心态来谈论生活
中或者愚人节期间出现的出人意料的玩笑或者闹剧。同时,优秀的学生对于自己
的有趣或者搞笑的生活经历进行过分享,学生们从情感上来说,已经能够理解愚
人节的玩笑,学会用娱乐的精神来面对这些玩笑和闹剧,为本课时April Fool’s Day
的学习垫定了良好的情感和背景基础。实际上Section B的第一课时就是为本课时
的学习做好了充足的知识和背景知识的铺垫,学生有足够的知识储备讨论愚人节
的庆祝活动。
三、学情分析
本班学生学习动机明确,能够在小组活动中互相帮助,积极与他人合作,敢
于用英语进行表达。本课时读前引导学生了解April Fool’s Day,内容贴近学生实
际,贴合本单元话题内容,学生愿意接受。对于阅读篇目,教师应该使用恰当的
阅读策略,引导学生从背景入手,并读前讨论,进入读中思考,进行有效的思维
训练。同时,读后的难句理解分析也应该为学生留足空间。
学习目标:
1. Students can recite and u the following words and phras: lady, discovery,
cancel, officer, believable, disappear, marry, get married, play jokes on, as much…as
they could, ll out, lo weight, so…that.
2. Students can read the passage quickly and get the main idea.
3. Students can read the passage carefully and answer the specific questions.
4. Students can talk about the funny stories that happened to them on April Fool’s
Day.
学习重点、难点:
1.文中出现的重难点单词,短语及句型。(课前处理)
2.掌握文章大意、段落大意和具体问题的分析。
3.让学生学会表达和话题讨论:愚人节。
评价任务:
针对本节课的四个学习目标,设计四个评价任务:

Ask Ss to watch a video about April Fool’s Day. Get the S to know about April
Fool’s Day.

Have you ever played jokes on others, especially on April Fool’s Day? Have you
ever been fooled by others? What happened to you?
While-reading (读中理解)
2.1Skim reading
Ask Ss skim the passage quickly and find out the main idea of each paragraph

Paragraph 2 Examples of funny stories that happened on April Fool’s Day
