滇东曲靖上志留统妙高组腕足化石群

(中国科学院南京地质古生物研究所)

滇东志留系的妙高组,曾名Spirifer tingi德罗部分)互比尹赞勋(1949)穆恩

Spirifer bourgeoisi(Grabau1930),或(1962)主张关底组、妙高组与西的

马龙群上部(孙云铸、王鸿祯,1946),分布惹坪对比确定其时代为中志留此后

在曲靖、马龙一带。妙高组的命名地在曲靖般都采用对比方案1974年,

城西南数公里妙高山的南坡(丁文江、王曰云南地质研究所方润森朱湘水云南

伦,1937),岩层出露甚佳,顺序清晰,与上化石图册》中,记述了Lingula, Orbiculoidea,

覆玉龙寺组、下伏关底组整合接,岩性为Mendacella, Sphaerir- hynchia, Atrypella,

瘤状泥灰夹泥介壳化石山坡。Protathyris, Protathyrisina, Eospirifer,

Eospirifer Ectatoglossa属约20时代定为中志留

tingi(Howellella tingi)原始产地、位就1970年,与任显罗惠麟两同志合

地。生的其它化石包括:腹足类: 笔者袁金良了标妙高

1926年,Grabau在研究滇东志留(Xu, Rong et Yang), Tadschikia tecta (sp. nov.),

纪动物群记载了Spirifer (EospiriJer) tingiAtrypoidea inflata (Fang), Protathyrisina

等四种腕足类确定其时代为晚志留uniplicata (Grabau), Pr. minor (Hayasaka), Pr.

未详述理由1931年,Grabau又描述了丁文plicata (Mansuy), Pr. quadriplicata Chu, Pr.

BRACHIOPODS FROM THE MIAOKAO FORMATION (UPPER

SILURIAN) OF QUJING, EASTERN YUNNAN

Summary

Marine Silurian rocks, well developed in with the exception of Lingula and Orbiculoidea.

Central E. Yunnan, may be divided into Walmsley (1965), Walmsley, Boucot and

Kuanti, Miaokao and Yulungssu Formations as Harper (1969, p.496) pointed out that no true

propod by Ting and Wang (1937). The Schizopharia is known in the pre-Devonian.

Miaokao Formation (about 335 m. thick), However, it has been recorded sparingly in the

compod of thin-bedded and nodular marls Pridolian strata. Aesopomum was first reported

with mudstones and shales, contains a large by Havlíček (1969) from Pragian and

number of shelly fossils, predominantly Zlichovian of Bohemia. It was also discovered

brachiopods. A well-known brachiopod species, in Lochkovian beds of Windmill Limestone

Spirifer (Eospirifer) tingi Grabau (=Howellella (Quadrithyris Zone) and Roberts Mountains

tingi) has been known to occur only in the Formation of Central Nevada, in Pridolian

Miaokao Formation, but its age has been a beds of Royal Creek, Yukon Territory. Lenz

problem in dispute. Graban (1926) assigned it (1967,1977) recorded Aesopomum at veral

to the late Silurian with no explanation in Lower Devonian horizons, and in Early

detail. Later on, he (1933) found Athyrisina Emsian beds of Xiao Hinggan Ling (Lesr

uniplicata Grabau, A. minor Hayasaka and A. Khingan) of NE. China. Tadschikia was found

plicata Mansuy from the Miaokao Formation from late Late Silurian beds of Central Asia,

and referred them to the Middle Devonian, but has not been known as yet from the beds

which was followed by some subquent younger than Pridolian. The genus Atrypoidea
