什么是雅思、托福、托业、BEC?

托业：TOEIC(TestofEnglishforInternationalCommunication)国际交

流英语考试，由美国教育考试服务中心设计。

每年大约会有500多万人参加的考试，__多家国际化的公司或机构承

认并使用TOEIC考试成绩，整体的考试内容偏向于商业环境，主要考察

申请人在国际商业、贸易环境中使用英语的熟练程度，因此也被称为“商

业托福”。

托福：TOEFL(TheTestofEnglishasaForeignLanguage)检定非英语

为母语者的英语能力考试，由ETS举办的英语能力考试。

至今为止，美国和加拿大共有2300多所院校规定，凡是外国学生申

请到该校入学学习的，必须提供T0EFL，GRE，GMAT或TSE的某一项或

两项标准化考试证明。

近几年，国内的联合国驻华机构和一些外企在选择录用时，也会参考

托福成绩。

雅思：IELTS(InternationalEnglishLanguageTestingSystem)国际英语

测试系统，由剑桥大学考试委员会外语考试部、英国文化协会及IDP教育

集团共同管理。

雅思考试是为打算到使用英语的国家学习、工作或定居的人们设置的

英语水平考试。分学术类和培训类两种，分别针对申请留学的学生和计划

在英语语言国家参加工作或移民的人士。

BEC：(BusinessEnglishCertificate)商务英语考试，指的是剑桥商务英

语资格考试,是剑桥系列考试中专为学习者提供的国际商务英语资格证书

考试。

考察申请人在真实工作环境中英语的交流能力，被欧洲乃至全球众多

教育机构、企业认可，将其作为入学考试或招聘录用的英语语言水平要

求，对于求职者有更大的作用。

雅思、托福、托业、BEC有什么区别?

1.研发机构：

雅思和BEC都是由剑桥大学考试中心研发;

托福和托业都是由美国教育考试服务中心研发。

2.适用人群：

雅思(A类)和托福更加强调学术性，用途也是以学生申请学校为主。

而BEC和托业是商务英语，面向的是一些职场工作的人群，为了评价工

作中英语应用能力的英语考试。

3.适用范围：

不同的国家、学校、机构对各项成绩的接受程度不太一样，例如美国

大部分的大学是承认雅思成绩的，但部分学校不能以此来申请教学金;而

英国部分学校已经不承认托福成绩了。

但绝大多数大学都不承认BEC和托业成绩，来体现非英语留学生的

英语水平。

4.考试形式：

雅思听力、写作和阅读目前多数是传统的纸笔考试，口语是考官面

试。托福是包含口语在内的所有考试项目，均为机考。

而托业和BEC则是普通的英语笔试的形式，但BEC相比托业考试，

多了一项口语考试的环节，这个口语的考试比较和雅思口语的考试方式类

似。

5.用途：

托业和BEC主要用于求职;托福和雅思主要是申请学校使用，少数求

职单位会要求托福、雅思成绩，以一部分外企为主。还有一部分国家定

居，也是需要雅思成绩的。

如果你是已经决定好不出国留学，安心就业的这类人，考BEC高级

比较合适，初级和中级用处不是很大。

现在春招季，很多同学如果没有明确的目标进哪家目标公司，那就考

BEC。

有些英语专业的学生，可能毕业之前专四没有考过，偏偏英语专业，

四六级成绩又不能作数。在找工作的时候急需一个能证明自己的英语水平

的考试，这时候考BEC是最好的选择。

相比托福、雅思和托业来说，BEC的是以通不通过的方式发放证书

的，不会有具体的成绩高低，这就等于BEC的证书只是一块进入企业的

敲门砖，不会影响后续的晋升。

但如果目标企业是日韩美，这些国家的企业，考托业会比较合适。因

为这些公司和托业成绩结合的比较密切，像是托业成绩应聘时免英语考

试，或者笔试时使用托业的考卷，某些韩国企业更是直接与升职挂钩。

如果你是没决定好，出不出国的学生，考雅思会比较适合你。

雅思的成绩在大部分国家都是认可的，不管是以后去外企就业还是继

续出国深造，都是十分妥当的选择。

另一方面，因为是笔试的形式，避免了如托福机考带来的客观因素的

干扰，像是考试中不能划重点、打字速度影响答题等等。

内容上相比托福，雅思的学术性不会太强，更偏向于校园生活的，有

一定的方法可循，比托福会略微简单一些，毕竟托福那些天文、考古等学

科单词可不是闹着玩的。

最后，值得关注的是，随着雅思考试越来越受到国内院校和雇主的认

可，以检测英文水平、国内入学、求职等，国内用途为考试目的考生人数

逐渐增加，2022年比例达到5.3%，名列第二!!，首次超越出国移民及工作

的群体占比~

总之一句话：有雅思成绩傍身，真的好处多多!如果你想通过相关英

语成绩去寻求更好的工作机会，雅思也许是个不错的选择~
