【篇1】英语课前三分钟小故事

  Mildred’s sister called. She was going to drop by. And whenever she visited, she usually made at least one trip to the bathroom. That meant one thing—Mildred needed to clean her toilet bowl.  This was the houhold chore that she hated the most. It was so icky! She grabbed the cleanr from beneath the bathroom sink. She sprinkled lots of it into the toilet bowl. Then she got out of her clothes, put on a big T-shirt, and pulled on her long-sleeved rubber gloves. Finally, she put on her goggles, becau she didn’t want any toilet water to splash into her eyes. She didn’t know if toilet water could cau an eye infection, but she wasn’t going to take any chances.  She grabbed the long-handled toilet bowl brush that was beneath the sink. She started scrubbing. She scrubbed under the rim, all around the bowl, and deep into the throat of the bowl. Five minutes later, she figured she was finished.  She flushed the toilet and checked the bowl. It was clean as a whistle. Mildred breathed a sigh of relief, becau usually she had to scrub the bowl twice to remove all the stains.  She removed her goggles, gloves, and T-shirt. Then she hopped into the shower.

  the country mou went to the hou of the city mou. it was a very good hou. nice food was t ready for them to eat. but just as they began to eat they heard a great noi. the city mou cried, " run! run! the cat is coming!" they ran away quickly and hid.

  after some time they came out. when they came out, the country mou said, "i do not like living in the city. i like living in my hole in the field. for it is nicer to be poor and happy, than to be rich and afraid."

  he began to go home. he had eaten no food that day. he began to want food. he came to the apples, and he was glad to take them out of the dust and eat them.

do not throw good things away; you may be glad to have them at some other time.

I can pay you some money." "I'm very sorry. It is a heritage of my family, I can't give it to you at any price," said Naboth. The king told her the story. The queen said, "You forget you are the king! Let me teach you how get it. You can make Naboth an office, then find an excu and ntence him to death." The king did what the queen said, Naboth died and the king got the vineyard.

  When God learned about this, he was very angry and said, "The king must be eaten by dogs, and the queen must be eaten by big birds. They are not good people, they take the things which are not theirs." At last, people found the king and the queen were dead when they went out for a picenic.

  Wang Xi-zhi is one of the most famous calligraphers during the Eastern Jin Dynasty of China. When he was very young, he practiced his art every day and never stopped.

  One time, Wang Xi-zhi sketched in wood for an engraver to cut. Then the engraver found the ink had penetrated one centimeter into the wood.

  "Ru Mu San Fen" is got from this story, which means the calligraphy is strong.
