Drunken Driving

Nobody could have failed to notice the fact that drunken driving has been a grave problem with which we are confronted. Generally speaking, there are veral reasons accounting for/behind this phenomenon. Firstly, recent decades have witnesd the rapid development of people’s living standards. As a result,cars gained ever-increasing popularity and have found their way into our everyday life. Secondly, people participate in more activities or banquets than ever before, where they will drink liquor/strong wine. Then, they may get drunkbut continue to drive.

Drunken driving is bound to generate vere conquenceif we keep turning a blind eye to it. Firs and foremost, this behavior will directly threaten the safety of drivers, pasngers and pedestrians/goers,resulting in traffic accidents, injuries and even deaths. Besides, treating theinjured and repairing broken cars mean a grievous waste of money, time andresources. Last but not least, this irresponsible driving will make the road anightmare, and thus, it will caus rious loss of faith in governments andthe society.

In view of the riousness of this problem, effective measures must be taken before things get wor. First, it is esntial that the supervisory role of laws and regulations should be strengthened to punish tho performing drunken driving. Secondly, the public, especially drivers, should enhance their awareness of public safety. With stringent laws and alert public, it will onlya matter of time for drunken driving to become things of past.

Traveling by Train or by Plan

When we go on a business trip, we will be faced with the choice of traveling by train or by plane. Before making the right choice,we had better make a clo comparison and contrast of them.

First of all, a train will take us to our targetrail way station. Also, a plane will take us to the target airport. Second, in atrain we can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the countryside. Like wi, in a plane we can command a good view of fields, buildings, mountains and evenplains of clouds. Despite the similarities, they differ in the following aspects. First, a train ticker is cheap. Most of us can afford it. However, aplane ticket is about twice as expensive as a train ticket. Most of us grudge paying for it. Besides, it is safer to travel by train. If the train gets some trouble, we survive by jumping out of it. On the contrary, if we travel by plane, we have to ask God to bless us. However, it takes us longer time to travel by train than by plane.

Therefore, it depends which transportation tool we should choo. If we just want to save money, we will travel by train. But if we want to save time, we will turn to the plane.
