If someone were to compile a list of the 10 top hot words in the Chine literary arena, "post-80s writers" would certainly be on it. |

In China, tho who were born in the 1980's and are now aged between 17 and 26 are called the "post-1980s" generation. In the next few years the 200 million people belonging to this generation will play the leading role in China.
First, let’s enjoy some collections in our childhood, which have brought us endless fun.
● Roles determiner: we folded a piece of paper into such shape and wrote veral roles, and then, you cho South, West, North, East…after veral movements with fingers, you could play all kinds of roles without any difficulties.
● Electronic games, like the most powerful glue in the world, we stuck to them after school. How many stages could you pass at that time?

● The same as small cards, there were also piles of plastic soldiers, glass balls and plastic discs. They hided in the instant noodle bags, “xiao hu dui”: “pi li hu”、”xuan feng hu” etc. We saved up for them to be a rich man. The spring frog was the most popular toy cau it was so advanced at that time. it was my favorite.
● Do you still remember the moment you put on the red tie? We keep studying hard from our primary school, following the saying” good good study, day day up” and “learn from the uncle LF”. At the same time, we kept going with the fashion, collecting the fruit-flavor or fruit-shape erars, and taking priding in having a multi-button pencil box,
● As for the snack, there is no need to mention the details of our superstars at that time. But unfortunately, we can find them easily nowadays.

● GJM Guo Jingming, a 21-year-old college student, ranks 100 on the 2004 Forbes Chine Celebrity list, showing his great talent as the most commercially successful young writer in China. Guo now ranks the 93rd on the list of 2004 Forbes Chine Celebrity 100, with asts worth US$1.6 million. Even the famous dancer Yang Liping ranks behind him. No doubt that he is the most successful commercial young writer in China.
"City of Fantasy" has grasped a very special readership – teenagers. This particular group is the most important for the country's future, but has long been neglected by writers. So whether he did it consciously or not, Guo has carved himlf a huge slice of this cake. Just as an editor from Sprout Magazine said, "It's quite reasonable that Guo has become so popular. Guo wrote "City of Fantasy" when he was a grade-three student in nior high. Criticized for his immaturity, he voiced his objection: "You cannot judge one's work by his age, but by the text. If the text is mature, that's enough. It's not necessarily true that the work of a 16-year-old writer is less mature than that of a 60-year-old writer. We should promote the juvenile writing rather than object it."
