PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a desired image-nsing device of an endoscope wherein an electronic member such as a solid-state image-nsing element is prevented from being infiltrated with steam due to autoclave sterilization and is hardly affected by a
thermal strain.
SOLUTION: In regard to the endoscope wherein an airtight space is formed by welding a cover glass frame 16, a cable frame 23 and a shield frame 22 which form the airtight space, and an image-nsing unit 10 is dispod in the airtight space. The image-nsing device of the endoscope is constituted by providing a parating wall 26 in the airtight space of either the cover glass frame or the cable frame 23 being welded, opposite to a welded part, and by injecting and solidifying a polymeric adhesive member between the parating wall 26 and the image-nsing unit 10.
