CONSTITUTION:The tail end part of the preceding strip to be pasd on the continuous process line of stainless steel hot rolled strip and the tip part of the succeeding strip are butted and welded. In this ca, the heat input quantity to be inputted at weld time on the butt part of the preceding and succeeding strips is controlled so as to satify the equation. In the equation y is the heat input quantity at weld time, x the number of repeated bending times. The rupture accident of the weld zone during plate passing is thus cleared off and the stabilized operation of continuous process line can be performed.
