摘要：NEW MATERIAL:A 1,2,4-oxadiazole derivative shown by the formula I . USE:A herbicide. Effective against broadleaf weeds, gramineous weeds, commelinaceous weeds, cyperaceous weeds, etc. in paddy fields, plowed fields, orchards, forests, or nonagricultural lands. PROCESS:An alkyl-1,2,4-oxadiazole , 5-(diethylphosphonomethylaminomethyl)-3-methyl-1,2,4-oxadiazole, etc.] shown by the formula II(R is lower alkyl) is hydrolyzed optionally in a solvent such as ethanol with an excess amount of acid (e.g., hydrochloric acid, etc.) for 1-10hr under reflux.
