1. Introtuction:
(1) Feminism is a collection of movements and ideologies aimed at defining, establishing, and defending equal political, economic, cultural, and social rights for women.This includes eking to establish equal opportunities for women in education and employment.
The first feminist wave was in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, which refers mainly to women’s suffrage (women’s right to vote).
The cond was in the 1960s and 1970s, which refers to the ideas and actions associated with the women’s liberation movement beginning in the 1960s (which campaigned for legal and social rights for women).

(2) The women's liberation movement was the collective struggle for equality, most active during the late 1960s and 1970s, that sought to free women from oppression and male supremacy. The women's liberation movement consisted of women's liberation grou
ps, advocacy, protests, consciousness-raising, feminist theory and a variety of diver individual and group actions on behalf of women and freedom.

1) miniature
adj. 微型的，小规模的

vt. 是…的缩影
e.g.:

4) convert v. ~into 使转变；转换…；使…改变信仰
e.g.
They converted the garage into a theater.他们将车库改成戏院。
The priest converted many natives into Christianity. 牧师使许多土著居民改信基督教
convert, revi, transform都有转变的意思：
convert 指为了能适应新的用途或目的，而改变某一事物的性质或状态。也可用于改变某人的政治观点、信仰,这个词义是其他词所没有的
revi 指先仔细考虑和检查，找出需要改正、改善的地方，然后进行必要的变动。
小飞侠乐队transform 在性质上或形态上发生彻底或根本的积极的变化,常指突然或神秘地改变,有时含有夸张的意味。
