Ⅱ. 语法详解 ：过去完成时（Ⅱ）
还记得“过去的过去”是指哪种时态吗？如果有主、从两个句子，先后动作要分开叙述；哪个在先，哪个“完成”；哪个在后，哪个“过去”。
◆普通用法：通常与when/before/after/as soon as/by the time等连用
We cleaned the hou as soon as our little guests had left.
当小客人们一走，我们就开始收拾了。
By the time I realized what had happened, he had gone.
我刚回过神来，明白刚才发生的一切时，他已经走了。
propos◆经典句型：用在“it was the first time that…”句型里
This was the first time that I had met him face to face.这是我生平第一次亲眼见到他。
