1). Directions: You are going to listen to an instructor talking about expressing determination and optimism. Listen carefully and fill in the blanks with the missing words.

Your determination and optimism tend to go hand in hand. Determination is a driving force. You have to make a decision to do everything. Nothing can be accomplished without a firm belief. Your determination usually reflects a certain degree
