Structural analysis of the text
Paragraph 13 is a paragraph that bridges the two parts of Phil’s world -- his career and his family. From the attitude of Phil’s wife towards his boss, we can find the reason why Phil attached much more significance to his work than his family and also the cau of his tragedy。 In this n, paragraph 13 is the most important paragraph of the whole piece so far as the structure is concerned.
