Materials: Handout with idioms and their definitions, worksheet, and the short film "BFFs."。
Warm-up (5 minutes):。在线英语学习
Ask students the following questions: "What do you think makes a good friend?" "How do y
ou maintain friendships?" "What are some challenges you might face when trying to make new friends?" Have a class discussion and try to get as many students involved as possible.
Introduction of idioms (10 minutes):。unite
Idioms:。
1. A shoulder to cry on。
2. Birds of a feather flock together。
Definition: People who have similar interests and personalities tend to hang out together.

Activity - "BFFs" (25 minutes):。
Show the short film "BFFs" to the class. After the film, distribute the worksheet and have students work on it individually or in pairs. The worksheet has questions relating to the film and each question us one of the idioms from the handout. Have students underline or circle the idiom in the question and then answer it using the conte某t from the film. Walk around the room and help any students who are struggling.

Ask students to reflect on how friendship is portrayed in the film and whether or not they agree with the message.
