To conclude, as the DLO, I have claimed that media’s supervisory function cannot be replaced easily, and I have explained why this policy “banning media coverage” is unnecessary and why the government would夜猫子 英文 definitely pay high price if issuing the ban. Balancing the advantages and disadvantages, this hou believes that we should not ban media coverage of celebrities喧嚷的近义词是什么’ privacy.

Government Whip Speech
(Opening remarks-Comment on the Principle Issues)
Ladies and gentlemen, I regret to say that in this long-lasting debate we saw an opposition who overlooked the importance of celebrities ‘right to privacy and the necessities of protecting this privacy. They claimed that once a celebrity cho to step out into the public attention, he automatically agreed to give up his privacy right to fulfill the so-called “public duty”. Which is, in other words, since a celebrity has gained so much att
ention and money from his career, he should therefore be willing to sacrifice his right to satisfy media and his fellow citizens in return. Firstly, we do not think it is the celebrities’ public duty to give up his privacy right. Rather, it is the celebrity’s privacy that is most easily harmed and need to be protected. Secondly, we believe by protecting this privacy we can protect more people from potential harm and guide the society towards a better social value. I will prove the two points in my following speech.
(Refutation)
1.Government should provide weapons (allow media supervision) instead of taking (coverage) rights away?
Firstly, coverage right doesn’t exist if it is about personal issues (privacy).
Secondly, bad on this claim, we can also safely draw to a conclusion that government should come up with policies and laws as weapons to protect the privacy right of celebrities, not neglecting its duty and deprive this right from them.

2.Should a celebrity pay for his fame by giving up privacy?
No. Whatever he got from his career he paid for them through his hardwork and lf-decipline. As for the opposition’s concern that celebrities may hide dirty little crets and therefore have bad influence on public, we have already proved that government would supervi them with more solid and valid policies and laws, and we believe only the government has such authority to do so.
(Summary Model:AHRP)
Thoughout this debate, I e mainly two clashes.
Clash 1 Does the media coverage of celebrities’ privacy do such harm that it need to be banned?( YES)
Opposition: The coverages help to supervi celebrities, teach citizens right from wrong and nd positive messages to the public.
Us: The coverages harm the celebrities and their families and friends by affecting their normal daily lives, sometimes even arousing personal attacks and insults.(ZGR)
The coverages harm the fans (esp. teenagers who looked up to their models) by misleading them to do the same thing their models drug abu).
The coverages harm the whole society for the media, under its profit-driven nature, may form a competition of disclosing celebrities’ privacy. Even wor, to attract more attentain they may try to “create” privacy which is not true, causing greater chaos and disputes.
