摘要：A ratchet mechanism for curing cargo that may include a body, a ratchet, a lever and an adjustable or extendable handle. The ratchet may include a pair of opposing arms connected to the body and a spool rotatably connected to the arms. The lever may be rotatably attached to the arms and reciprocated between an open position and a
proportionateclod position, wherein the lever may include at least one pawl to engage the ratchet wheels and rotate the spool when the lever is reciprocated. The handle may be adjustable to increa the mechanical advantage of the lever. The handle may be rotatably connected to the lever to extend the length of the lever. The handle may be slidably connected to the lever, to slide between a compact position where the handle is clor to the spool, and an extended position where the handle extends further away from the spool.
