摘要:Bad on recent findings, the main span of the Vincent Thomas suspension bridge cross directly over the Palos Verdes fault, which has the capacity to produce a devastating earthquake. In spring 2000, the bridge underwent a major retrofit using visco-elastic dampers. This study focus on ismic vulnerability of the retrofitted bridge.
