中考主要考查can,must,may,need四个情态动词。

一.比较have to和must:
My brother was very ill, so I had to call the doctor in the middle of the night.
He said that they must work hard.
2) 在否定结构中: don't have to 表示"不必" mustn't 表示"禁止",
You don't have to tell him about it.
You mustn't tell him about it.
There is someone knocking the door. It must be Tom.
It can’t be Tom in the classroom. Becau he is ill and he doesn’t come to school today.
(Could也是)
Yes, you may. / No, you mustn’t. May/might表推测时,语气最弱。

May you success!
3. --- Must I finish the project today? --- Yes, you must. / No, you needn’t.
