Derek and Janey were eating in the hall and talking about the jacket of Mr. Such, who was their teacher.

However, probably becau he hadn’t got ud to the new jacket, he forgot to take it back with him. All the students left except Derek and Janey, who were still busy with their painting. Derek mixed up too much green paints and got his hand very dirty. He reached behind him and rubbed his hands on the towel on the cupboard door. Except that it wasn’t the towel.
“ Oh, ” he said quietly. “ What have I done! ” Turing around, he found he had wiped his hands on Mr. Such’s new jacket! Janey wanted to help, so she quickly grabbed some paper and rubbed at the green marks. “ Oh no! ” Derek cried in agony, “ You’re making them wor. They’re twice as big now. ” 单词之美
Janey felt sorry and thought hard, and finally she came up with an idea. “ He was still in the office, so we still have time. There’s only one thing for it now, ” she said with determination and pointed to the sink outside the classroom. Desperate as Derek was, he took some soaps and fetched the jacket cretly to the sink with Janey.
