摘要：PURPOSE:To execute check scarfing treatment on the whole surface of a continuously cast slab in all over by using a check scarfing device having a nozzle for scarfing and a nozzle for controlling molten slag shifting to at the right angle to the progressing direction of cast slab. CONSTITUTION:At the time of executing the check scarfing on the surface of continuously cast slab from continuous casting line, a girder 2A shifting on rails 3a, 3b t along to longitudinal direction of the cast slab so as to crossing over width direction of the cast slab 1, is t and on this, a shifting table 7 is freely shifted on rail 5 arranged toward right angle direction to the rails 3a, 3b. On the movable carriage 7, the nozzle 6 for executing the check scarfing to the surface of cast slab and the nozzles 11a, 11b for controlling molten slag, which controls the molten slag flow and stably executes the check scarfing with always existence of the molten slag in front of the nozzle for scarfing 6, arranged. By shifting the movable carriage 7 on the rail 5, the check scarfing to diagonal direction 16A on the surface of cast slab is executed on the whole surface containing not only the center part but also both edge parts of the cast slab 1.
