欢迎大家阅读“大家一起学英文”的创刊之作。随着尚龙集团的全球化扩张步伐，尚龙中国也引进了大批外国高官层，为了帮助中国员工和外籍主管更好地沟通交流，此快讯的目的皆在帮助集团全体员工提高整体英文水平, 此快讯会由集团所有翻译每月轮流编写一次。本月刊会在每月15日发行，由总部统一发给所有分公司。希望这样的月刊能够给大家学习英语提供一些帮助，也欢迎大家给我们的快讯提出宝贵的意见！

Welcome to read our first newsletter on “Let’s study English Together”. As Saongroup is becoming a tr
uly international company, t more and more expats start to work for Saongroup China. In order to help Chine employees to communicate better with our foreign MDs, this newsletter is aiming at improving the overall English level for all our staff. The newsletter is prepared by our Saongroup translators’ team. It will be issued on the 15th every month, the head office will nd the newsletter to all the local business. Hope this newsletter can offer some hints in your English studying and look forward to your feedback!

英语世界有自己的一套网络语言吗？当然有！如今的潮人聊天都喜欢用简写，玩谐音，越是让外人看起来高深莫测，自己心里头越是得意非凡。
有些人批评年轻人喜欢使用简化英语的现象，认为这是语言退化的象征，所以老师不该教，年轻人也不该学。但是，语言是沟通的工具，既然这些简化的网络语言在年轻人的网络世界通用，那么年轻人就应该学。否则，跟外国朋友在MSN聊天，十句看不懂五句，还有什么
乐趣可言？
而且，Google还告诉我们，这些简化了的语言，实际上非常
环保，是拯救地球的大势所趋。Google Talk的官方Blog

们每个讯息中的每个字节(Byte)，均会释放

谓小数怕累计，所以我们的讯息约简洁，对环境造成的不良影
响就越少。
言归正传，下面列举一些典型的网络英文潮语。
btw(by the way)：这个大多数人都会用，就是“顺便再说一句”的意思。
g2g(got to go)：要走了。原句是I've got to go。
ttyl(talk to you later)：下次再说。
brb(be right back)：很快回来。也就是I'll be right back 或I'm gonna be right back的简写。
jk(just kidding)：开玩笑，别当真。
omg(oh my god)：我的天啊！有时为了表达更强烈的情感，有人会打：OMGGGGGGG!
lol(laugh out loud)：大声地笑。这个缩写已经快被用烂了。
Imao(laughing my ar/ass off)：笑死我了。遇到真正搞笑的事，可以这么说，不过有点粗俗。rofl(rolling on the floor laughing)：笑到摔到地上。
roflmao(rolling on the floor laughing my ass of)：前两个的结合版，也就是超级搞笑的意思。
faq什么意思sth(something)：某事某物。
nth(nothing)：什么也没有。
plz(plea)：请。plea 字尾是z 音，所以按照读音缩写为plz。
thx(thanks)：谢谢。按照发音来看，thanks字尾的ks可以用字母X代替。
idk(I don't know)：我不知道。
imho, imo(in my humble opinion, in my opinion)：在我看来，常见于论坛。莲韵吧
np(no problem)：没问题
当然了，以上这些缩略语的使用还是要分场合的，该用完整表达的时候还是要把句子写全的。

At some time in everyone's business career, they will make a mistake (or two). Some mistakes are small and can be easily fixed, while others are large and take a lot of work to t right.
每个人工作期间都有犯一两次错误的时候。有些是小错误很容易解决，有些错误很严重需要做很多工作来弥补。
Regardless of the size of the mistake, the most important thing to do is to tell someone straight away. Even if you think that you will get in a huge jam, the best policy to is admit to your mistakes as early as possible.
不管多大的错误，最重要的是赶快把它说出来。尽管你认为你会惹上大麻烦，但最好的解决方法
是尽早承认错误。
If you try to hide a mistake and someone el finds out (and they always do), the trouble will be much wor becau you tried to hide it.
如果你想把错误隐藏起来，被别人发现后麻烦更大（人们总是能发现），因为你试图掩盖错误。
Anyone can make a mistake once, but only a fool makes the same mistake twice! Learn from your mistakes and don't repeat them.

When you do make a mistake, think about all of the possible
witnessingsolutions, so that when you tell someone, you can suggest ways to
fix it. People will think highly of you for your honesty and
professionalism that way.
如果真的犯了错误，想一想可能的解决方法，这样你在跟别人说的
时候就可以提出解决它的建议。这样一来人们就会很欣赏你的诚实
和职业作风。
When someone el makes a mistake and comes to you for help, try to focus on solving the problem and not on criticizing them. All problems can be fixed if you think carefully enough!
