摘要：The prent invention relates to antagonists of chemokine receptor CCR3 and to a method for treating a subject with a dia associated with aberrant leukocyte recruitment and/or activation. The antagonist is an hexapeptide capable of inhibiting a beta-chemokine from binding to a CCR3 receptor. The method compris the step of administering to a patient a therapeutically effective amount of an hexapeptide antagonist of chemokine receptor CCR3. The hexapeptide antagonist binds between a beta-chemokine and the receptor CCR3, thereby preventing a beta-chemokine from binding to the receptor CCR3.
