Abstract :
As a part of culture, wedding is one of the most important ceremony in one's life. There' re some different wedding customs in different cultures. This article aims at the comparison between them in the holding spots, clothes, tone, customs, etc, and analys the caus to give a brief talk towards different wedding customs in china and western world.

When it comes to Chine traditional wedding customs, we may think of many complicated customs etiquette.However, as soon as people consider foreign wedding customs, nothing impress people deeply except church, pastor. In fact, as the differences among various race and culture, the local customs are very different from each other.
Chapter 1 The Differences of Marriage between China and America
“Custom is the great guide of human life”, wrote Scottish philosopher David Hume. Knowing the customs of a country is, in effect, a guide to understanding the soul of that country and its people. As a foreign language leaner, we should know the culture in our target language’s country. Only in this way, we can really learn the language well.
People express their culture through traditions in food, clothing, recreation, and ceremonies; through the education system and institutions of learning, including muums and libraries; and through the arts, encompassing the visual, literary, and performing arts. As a result, we will talk about the differences from some aspects.热忱
Chapter 2. Wedding Spots
As for Chine people who prefer superb scenes and big crowed, we ud to choo some big yards open to the elements, guests sitting around the turning tables, all the laughter and short conversations are fulfilling the whole spot.With the fireworks and a deafening sound of gongs and drums, they witness the new couple's sweet ceremony. But nowadays, since we cannot find that kind of big yards in big cities anymore, we hold weddings in large hotel with convenient transportation conditions instead.
However, speak to western wedding spots, they em more holy and solemn, they often choo churches, with the praying songs sing by the choir and the prayer of the priest, the new couple promi each other the whole life time and everything ems all in perfect order.

Chine always consider red color as a symbol of good luck and the best wishes to the
new. It implies they will live on a harmony life ever since they get married. And generally we think that Chine dragons and Phoenix are making the best couple,so we often embroider the two character on the bedding stuff tow ish them grow old together happily.
