DEFINITIONS（定义）
Player: Any person playing Badminton.（球员：任何打羽毛球的人。）
Match: The basic contest in Badminton between opposing sides each of one or two players.（比赛：双方进行的羽毛球基本竞赛，每方一名或两名球员。）
Singles: A match where there is one player on each of the opposing sides.（单打：每方有一名球员进行的比赛。）

1. COURT AND COURT EQUIPMENT（球场及球场设施）
1.1. The court shall be a rectangle marked out with lines 40 mm wide as shown in Diagram A.（球场应为一长方形场地，以40mm宽的线条勾画，如图A所示。）
1.2. The lines marking out the court shall be easily distinguishable and preferably be coloured white or yellow. （勾画球场的线条应容易识别，最好使用白色或黄色。）

vocation2. SHUTTLE（羽毛球）
2.1. The shuttle shall be made of natural and / or synthetic materials. From whatever material the shuttle is made, the flight characteristics generally shall be similar to tho produced by a natural feathered shuttle with a cork ba covered by a thin layer of leather.（羽毛球可以用天然或合成的材料制作。无论使用何种材料制成，羽毛球的飞行特性都应该近似于用天然羽毛和带有皮革薄层的软木所制成的羽毛球。）
2.2. Feathered Shuttle（用羽毛制作的球）
2.2.1. The shuttle shall have 16 feathers fixed in the ba.（球上应有16根羽毛固定在软木托上。）
2.2.2. The feathers shall have a uniform length between 62 mm to 70 mm when measured from the tip to the top of the ba.（羽毛的长度应统一，为62mm至70mm之间，长度的测量是从羽毛尖到球托的顶部。）

2.3.3. Measurements and weight shall be as in Laws 2.2.2, 2.2.3 and 2.2.6.
