Lock-Out & Tag-Out is a planned safety procedure that involves turning off the energy supply to equipment and machinery before maintenance and repairs are carried out. This procedure protects workers from machinery being turned on accidentally whilst maintenance work is being undertaken. Once all of the work and repairs to the machinery have been checked and completed then the lock-out / Tag-out can be removed ready for the machinery to commence safe operation again.

Before any repair or maintenance works commence equipment must be isolated through the u of the “Lock-Out” procedure stated below.

PROCEDURE程序
1．Where required a “permit to work” form must be comple ted clearly stating the start date and duration of the works along with the technicians name before works commence.

在需要填写维修许可的表格上必须明确注明日期，维修人员和持续时间等详细信息，在完成表格后才能开始维护工作（1、末端电气维修的，由维修工在现场开关挂牌上锁、测试，然后再进行现场施工；
2、涉及到需要配电房停电的，由维修工在现场电气开关挂牌上锁、测试；配电室电工在配电房相对应的电气开关上挂牌上锁、测试；然后再进行现场施工。）。
2．Turn off the electrical equipment, then turn off the electric switch of which equipment need be maintenance
将需要检修的电器设备停止工作，将电器开关关闭。
3．Any stored energy (condary energy source) must be relead from the equipment. Depending on the type of machine, there may still be veral kinds of energy remaining after the power is turned off. Secondary energy sources may be hydraulic (fluid under pressure), pneumatic (air under pressure), kinetic (force of moving parts) and/or potential (force contained in weights that have been raid).

5. Hang up the maintenance sign card prepared.
同时将事先准备好的维修牌也挂上。
6. Double check the electric switch is shut off.
再一次核对该开关已经断开关
7. When staff .maintain the electrical equipment, u the electro probe to test and make sure the electric switch is locked.
在进行电器设备维修时，用电笔测试确认电源已经断开
8.After repaired, unlock the electrical equipment by the staff who locked it.
维修完成后，由给该开关上锁的员工，亲自打开开关锁
If the electrical equipment is not function well,repeat the above procedure.
如果试运行该设备不正常，则重复上述程序。
9. Any team member who maintain electrical equipment without following this P&P and cau any damage must pay the damage by themlves if hotel could not claim the insurance from insurance company.
任何员工如在进行设备维修时不按照此标准进行而造成任何损坏和损失，如果在保险公司不予赔偿的
