[Abstract]: The stratified teaching method is a targeted teaching design in the process of teaching practice, according to the inpidual physiological and psychological characteristics of different students, different learning foundations and knowledge acceptance abilities. The stratified teaching has multi-level teaching goals, and adopts flexible teaching methods to improve the academic performance of students with different basics, so as to achieve teaching goals. 1．Introduction
With the deepening of the new curriculum reform, students gradually become the masters of learning. However, freshmen generally have uneven levels of English learning.
