条款英语Relate to的用法
▲1.讲述，叙述 后接名词或从句（tell sth to sb）
例如：孩子们喜欢向来客们讲述他们幻想中的冒险故事。
The children enjoyed relating their imaginary adventures to their visitors.
学生向老师讲述他的烦恼,并征求老师的意见.
The student related to the teacher his trouble and asked for advice.
她讲述了他们之间发生的情况。

▲2。理解并喜欢(understand and like sth）

注意：relate的同根词还有relation和relative
1)relation和relative都有亲戚的含义，但表示笼统意义的亲属关系时，应该用relation,不可以用relative；表示父子、师生关系时用relation的单数，但表示人与人，国与国之间的关系时，relation用复数。
