1. 學校簡史

The total number of full-time equivalent students in 2007 was 4979 (5152 in 2006). The performance indicator ( the total number of annual performance equivalent in relation to full-time equivalent students) was 82 per cent (81 per cent 2006).

The goal for the total number of bachelor of science degrees in nursing during the period of 2005-2008 is 395; during 2007 113 nursing degrees were awarded. Other goals are to award degrees to 65 teachers specializing in early years and 325 teachers specializing in later years covering the four year period of 2005-2008. Teacher education specializing in early years started in Autumn 2003 and the first group of students received their degrees
in January 2007.
研究Rearch

Rearch had a turnover of SEK83.9 million, which was an increa from SEK77 million in 2006. The proportion of external funding incread from 51 to 52 per cent.
9 faculty members at Halmstad University received doctoral degrees during 2007 (four during 2006) and five were awarded a licentiate degree (8 during 2006). 53% of the University's permanently employed staff hold PhDs (52% during 2006). Of the total of 30 professors at start of 2007, six professors were women and 24 men. The University's goal approved by the government is that at least 24% of professors should be women.
財政Finance

The accounts for the business year of 2007 showed a surplus of SEK11 million. The University makes a deduction from the funding cap for undergraduate higher education ie SEK305.5 million of which SEK298.7 million is the equivalent to the 2007 accounts. The remaining SEK6.7 million is deducted from previous performance surplus.
