The worst experience I have ever had was the day a friend and I were driven out of a store. One day my friend and I went downtown to shop. We were wearing casual clothes that hadn't been ironed and went to one of the large upper-scale stores. Our down-scale clothing immediately drew prejudice. Some of the children we encountered stared, pointed, and laughed; adults gave us long, doubtful looks. Clerks in stores followed our tracks to watch our every move. And they even refud to let us u the bathroom. Both of us felt that there was no room for us and that the lack of trust and rude stares virtually drove us out of the store.

My friend Jack has become a workaholic. He has too strong a desire to prove himlf. According to him, good enough is never good enough. While others want only to finish a few things, he aims to do everything by himlf. Also, he is unwilling to spend time with his family or friends, playing with the dog, or going fishing. He would feel guilty if he did so, becau he believes that all his time should be spent working. He even wishes that he could have a day of 26 hours or even more. He has become a workaholic whether he likes it or not.

One of the ways to correct the population explosion of urban areas is to improve the facilities in rural areas. Adequate parking facilities, attractive and well-stocked department and food stores, drug stores, gift shops and bakeries should be built in rural areas to convince more people living there to stay where they are. The government should offer lower tax rates and modest homes on convenient terms to tho who choo to live in the rural areas.课题研究的主要方法

In respon to the problem, the local government has decided to fight against air pollution. It has clod down veral factories, which were considered to be the major cau of the pollution. Many power plants have been modernized to give off less pollution and also moved further away from people's homes so as to decrea the damage. At the same time, the local government has decided to plant trees in and around the region becau trees can absorb some of the pollution.
