Here, the verb of “since clau” refers to the first action some years ago, like “started to do sth.” is a good choice here. Subjunctive mood is a test point in college entrance examinations. Yet,it is not the grammar of book II. So we just give explanation of subjunctive mood under one condition - contrary to an action happened in the past (对过去发生动作的虚拟) Task on PPT 13 is designed here to e whether students have understand subjunctive mood we have discusd on PPT 12.
