Now turn to page 87 first and look at the three ntences in the Grammar Focus.

Do you know where I can buy shampoo?

Could you tell me xchhow to get to the post office?

Could you plea tell me where I can get a dictionary?

Have you noticed the word “where” and “how” ud in the ntences. The questions introduced by them are called the Indirect questions.

Now in pairs make similar ntences with “where” and “how”.

Do you know where I can go hiking in the mountain?

Could you tell me how to have a good time in a big city?

Could you plea tell me where I can find a good English teacher?

1a Matching things with places

On page 86 is a picture of a city. A visitor is asking someone questions about things to do at certain places. Now look at the picture and match each thing with a place.
