Investigation on over-sulfur phosphogypsum–ground granulate blast-furnace slag cement paste and concrete

portion of steel slag, ground granulated blast-furnace slag and water. With phosphogypsum not requiring dried, it could save large quantities energy during the manufacturing operation. The cement had a good performance of normal tting time, high volume stability and high strength. Further more, the C30, C40 concrete produced with the cement paste could be found to have h中值定理igh liquidity. XRD and SEM analys showed that the main hydration products of the cement were ettringite and C–S–H gel. Steel slag in the cement paste acted as an alkalinity activator.

As the requirement of sustainable development of the economy and society in China, it is significant to utilize solid waste. Both of phosphogypsum (PG) and ground granulate blast-furnace slag (GGBS) are solid wastes produced by industry, the annual output of them are more than thousands of tons, but utilization ratio of them are very low in China. Discharging them without any treatment will occupy large land to stack, and what's wor,
cau rious environment pollution[1].
PG, generated by wet process phosphorus fertilizer industry, consists mainly of CaSO4·2H2O (>90%). However, the contents of 无忧工作minor constituents in PG varied in a wide rang, along with the composition of rock phosphate. In some studys, PG was ud as substitute of nature gypsum in Potland cement[2], or as road ba material binder[3]. Further more, some f curepretreatment such as was hing with water, thermal as well as chemical treatments[4-8] applied to PG, can significantly improved its application performance.
A new cement utilized by limestone and three industrial byproducts steel slag, phosphogypsum(dried in 60℃) and ground granulated blast furnace slag had been investigated in our previous work[9-12]. All of materials were dried in different temperature and ground in a Ф500 mm × 500 mm laboratory ball mill, respectively, and then mixed in a laboratory mixer in some fixed proportion. The 28d compressive strength of a mixture of the materials in certain proportion exceeded 40 MPa.
Huang[13]mixed industrial byproducts phosphogypsum(dried in 60℃) and ground granulated blast furnace slag with small addition of ordinary portland cement to formulate cementitious binders. The 28d compressive strength of the mortar made by the binder with mixture of 50% PG, 46% GGBFS and 4% OPC exceeded 45 MPa.
