平儿来至屋内，发现上次来过的刘姥姥和板儿坐在屋里
Mrs.ping gets into hou ,she finds that liulaolao and baner sit there
刘姥姥（忙跳下地来）：姑娘好？ 家里都问好。早要来看望姑奶奶和姑娘的，因为庄家忙，好容易今年多大了两担粮食，这是头一起摘下来的，没敢买呢，留着孝敬姑奶奶姑娘们尝尝，姑娘们天天山珍海味也吃腻了，吃个野菜，也算我们的穷心。
How is it going my girl!I want to visit you and madam long time ago,but I was too busy.We have a rich harvest this year and you must have a taste.You may feel boring to eat meat all the time. So I hope you can accept my small gift.This is my mind.I hope you like it.

刘姥姥：周嫂子，天不早了，你回姑奶奶一声我准备回去了，晚了怕赶不出城去呢

I am old the eye is spent, ear is deaf, the memory is gone. I don't remember the old relatives. I can only eat a little food and play a joke with the grandchildren when i am boring
刘姥姥（笑道）：这正是老太太的福了，我们想这么着也不能

贾母：我才听凤哥儿说，你带了好些瓜菜来，我正想吃个地里现撷的瓜儿菜儿吃，外头买的，不像你们田地里的好吃。

刘姥姥：这是野玩意儿，不过吃个新鲜。依我们想鱼肉吃，只是吃不起。

advis贾母：今儿既认着了亲，别空空儿的就去，你不嫌我这里，就住一两天再去。我们也有个园子，园里 调酒
头也有果子，你明日也尝尝，带些家去，也算看亲戚一趟

刘姥姥吃了茶，便把些乡村中所见所闻的事情说与贾母，贾母益发得了趣味，正说着，到了晚饭饭点，贾母将自己的菜拣了几样命人送去给刘姥姥吃，凤姐知道合了贾母的心，命人带刘姥姥去洗了澡，换上新衣。刘姥姥坐在贾母榻前，又搜寻些话出来说。宝玉姊妹们何曾听见过这些话，自觉比说书先生说的书还好听

贾母要在大观园摆宴，大家纷纷忙碌着安排

正乱着安排，贾母带着一群人进来了

李纨（忙迎上去，笑道）：老太太高兴，倒进来了，我只当还没梳头呢，才撷了菊花要送过去（捧过大盘子，里面是各色菊花）
