英语语法词汇详解almost 用法及区别
almost副词，几乎、差不多
contain例He slipped and almost fell. 他滑了一下，险些摔倒。
【辨析】almost与nearly
二者都是副词，在肯定句中常可换用。区别如下：
①nearly一般不用来修饰否定词：never, no，none，nothing, nobody，nowhere, too，more than等。一般用almost或者hardly +ever/anybody. 例如
almost never ( nearly never❎，换成hardly ever行)
She almost never cleans her room. 她几乎从不打扫房间。
She hardly ever cleans her room.
almost anything（hardly anything）
They’ll eat almost anything. 他们几乎什么都吃。
They’ll eat hardly anything.

② nearly可与not连用，但almost不可。
not nearly意为“一点也不，远非”。例
