摘要：PURPOSE:To perform the communication of the facsimile function simultaneously with the communication of the telephone function by responding to an incoming call with the facsimile function at the time of detecting the incoming call from an ISDN (integrated rvices digital network) line during the communication of the telephone function and communicating respon results by the facsimile function at the time when the communication of the facsimile function is possible. CONSTITUTION:A communication terminal equipment connected to ISDN is provided with an MPU 1 which controls the operation of the whole of the equipment, a ROM 2 where various programs are stored, a RAM 3 where data and pictures are stored, a disk device 4 as a non-volatile memory, a scanner 5 which reads picture data, a printer 6 which outputs received pictures, and a communication part 7 which performs switching between the facsimile function and the telephone function to control the communication. When the incoming call from an ISDN line 8 is detected by the communication part 7 during the communication of the telephone function and respon results of the facsimile function can be communicated by the facsimile function, the communication is performed by the facsimile function. Thus, the communication of the facsimile function is performed in respon to the incoming call from a facsimile even during the communication of the telephone function.
