Feret Diameter 费雷特直径
The maximum spacing between parallel tangents to a feature in a given direction.
Area
Feature Area
- the total number of detected pixels within the feature.
Aspect Ratio长宽比
The ratio of Length divided by Breadth.
Breadth宽度
The length of the shortest feret.
CoincCount符合数(重合数)coincidence counting 符合计数Coincidence count - the number of internal features contained within the external feature. CoincParam
Coincidence Parameter - the sum total of the specified parameter for each of the coincident internal features.

A shape factor which gives a minimum value of unity for a circle. This is calculated from the ratio of perimeter squared to area.

Field
Primary Parameters
Area
The total number of detected pixels in the field which fall within the measure frame.
Intercept H
Horizontal intercept. The number of horizontal detected chords that end within the Measure Frame. A horizontal detec ted chord is an unbroken line of detected pixels.
Intercept V
V ertical Intercept. Similar to Horizontal Intercept but measured in the vertical direction, ie, gives the interctions of columns of pixels with the lower edge of image detail.
Perimeter
The total length of the boundary around all the detected areas within the Measure Frame.
Count
The number of features per field, a non-dimensional quantity. Each detected feature is counted once only, at the feature count point.
Derived T erms
The following parameters we term DERIVED, becau they are derived from the primary
parameters.
Area Fraction
This is a measure of the relative quantity of a given pha, it is obtained by measuring field area as a proportion of the measure frame.
