摘    要
自主学习是当今教育研究的一个重要主题,它不仅是有效学习的一种形式,而且还是教学的目标。目前世界上许多国家普遍采用这种教学技巧,并初步形成了教学理论和学习策略,在实际教学中取得了一定的成果。我国当前正在进行的课程改革对自主学习能力提出了特别的要求,因此有效地在英语教学中实施自主学习策略的培训符合课程改革的需要;同时,在英语学习中英语的阅读能力的获得是学习的重要目标之一,但传统的教学方式和学习模式导致了当前学生整体阅读能力的低下,这成为了高中英语阅读教学的最大的障碍。
正是在这一背景下,本文作者对高中英语学习中自主学习策略在英语阅读中应用情况进行了重新的审视,旨在调查了解当前广大教师和学生对自主学习策略的了解、掌握和应用,以及师生们在英语阅读中阅读策略的应用情况。本文作者尤其对高二学生的应用情况倍加关注,因为多年的教学实践发现,学生的高二阶段有其自身特点和关键性,不容忽视。
为了进行研究,作者首先对自主学习的定义、内涵、特征和策略进行了阐述,然后对阅读的实质进行了总结,论述了阅读的理论和策略,最后探讨了自主学习和英语阅读的关系,对相关理论进行了较为全面的阐释。

最后,本文在调查分析的基础上,总结和概述了牡丹江市第二高级中学高二学生自主学习策略在阅读中应用情况的优势和存在问题,并且针对这些问题对高二自主学习策略的教与学都提出了建议。
希望本文的调查结果和作者对调查结果的讨论、思考和建议能对高中生的自主学习和英语阅读学习有所帮助,也希望能对高中教师培养学生自主学习策略和阅读策略有所

Abstract
Autonomous learning is an important subject in the educational rearch. It is not only a form of effective learning, but also an aim of teaching. Nowadays, the teaching skills of autonomous learning are adopted commonly by many countries, and new teaching theories and learning strategies are formed basically. As a result, achievements are made in practical teaching. The autonomous learning strategy training effectively actualized is consistent with the need of the new high school curriculum reformation in China. And English reading ability is another important aim in English studying. But, in China, traditional teaching and learning patterns are leading to the inferior ability condition in English reading, which becomes the drawbacks that prevent English reading teaching from developing.
In this background, the thesis scans the situation about the autonomous learning strategies using in English reading in nior high schools, aiming at finding out the situation and complexion in which the teachers and students in nior high schools u autonomous learning strategies to deal with English reading. The author of the thesis is especially concerned about the Senior Two students’ con
dition, for the stage in Senior Two has its own characteristics, and significance which shouldn’t be ignored.
First, the thesis states the concept, content, features and strategies of autonomous learning, and at the same time sums up the concept, theories and strategies of English reading. Also the thesis explores the relationship between autonomous learning and English reading.
After that, the author investigates the real situation in high school. So in the next part, the thesis contains the objectives, subjects, instruments, data collection procedures and analysis of the investigation. There is a questionnaire designed to examine the situation of the Senior Two students’ autonomous learning strategies applied to English reading and to get information from the students in Mudanjiang Number Two Senior Middle School. The author finds out that the students in her school have different degrees of ability in different aspects of autonomous learning. The students have their own aims in learning English and they know the significance of learning English well. They wish to learn the English well and have confidence to grasp the language. What they desire most is to u the autonomous learning strategies and reading strategies in their English study to improve their English level. But tradition teaching models and methods suppress the learning interests of the students. The lack of study strategies stops the students from making progress in their study too. So
it is a must to change learning methods and learning habits. The author interviews all the teachers, and analyzes the problems from them.
In the end, the thesis gives the advice about how to teach and study autonomous learning
strategies, according to the results of the investigation and the interview.
The author hopes that her thoughts can give a hand to the teachers and students who want to train and form good autonomous leaning habits and good reading abilities, especially to the students who are lacking in learning strategies.
