英语语感体验课讲义
讲义说明：该讲义共分为8个篇章，每篇章为2——3课时。每课时分为5个流程：step1原声光碟磨耳3——5遍。Step2篇章自学:核心词汇实用句型翻译行不行。Step3篇章阅读（注：出声读，仿读）。Step4篇章复述（从词到句再到篇章）。Step5篇章领悟（自言自语几句话，留下阅读痕迹）
该讲义中的文章选自《每天读一点英文》，这是一套与美国人同步阅读的中英双语丛书。该丛书由美国英语教师协会推荐，特点有：内文篇日取自美国最经典、最权威、最流行的读本，适于诵读；“提升实战”部分，讲解肇词、精华句型、翻译，检验阅读成果，升级英语能力。
课程说明：班级规模20人，教室一间（配备交互一体机），讲义每人一份。该课程意在把关在门外的学生们领进门，让学生们能把英语当成是一门语言来学习。排除畏难情绪，把英语读出来，说出来，把英语语感培养出来。

You’re Awesome
Consider…YOU. In all time before now and in all time to come, there has never been and will never be anyone just like you. You are unique in the entire history and future of the univer. Wow! Stop and think about that. You’re better than one in a million, or a billon, or a gazillion…
You are the only one like you in a a of infinity!
You’re amazing! You’re awesome! And by the way, TAG, you’re it. As amazing and awesome as you already are, you can be even more so. Beautiful young people are the whimsy of nature, but beautiful old people are true works of art. But you do not become “beautiful” just by virtue of the aging process.
Real beauty comes from learning, growing, and loving in the ways of life. That is the Art of Life. You can learn slowly, and sometimes painfully, by just waiting for life to happen to you. Or you can choo to accelerate you growth and intentionally devour life and all it offers. You are the artist that pains your future with the brush of today.
Paint a Masterpiece.
God gives every bird its food, but he doesn’t throw it into its nest. Wherever you want to go, whatever you want to do, it’s truly up to you.

Life Is Do-it-yourlf Project
An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employer of his plans to leave the hou-building business and live a more leisurely life with his wife, enjoying his extended family He would miss the paycheck, but he needed to retire. They could get by
The employer was sorry to e his good worker go and asked if he could build just one more hou as a personal favor. The carpenter said yes, but in time it was easy to e that his heart was not in his work. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and ud inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end his career.
When the carpenter finished his work and the employer came to inspect the hou and handed the front-door key to the carpenter. “This is your hou,” he said, “my gift to you”
What a shock! What a shame! If he had only known he was building his own hou, he would have done it all so differently. Now he had to live in the home he had built none too well.
So it is with us. We build our lives in a distracted way, reaching rather than acting, willing to put up less than the best. At important points we do not give the job our best effort. Then with a shock we look at the situation we have created and find that we are now living in the hou we have built. If we had realized, we would have done it differently.

第三篇：生活篇 life was like a box of chocolates
Carrot, Egg or Coffee
A daughter complained to her father about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It Seemed as one problem was solved a new one aro.
Her father, a cook, took her to the kitchen. He filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to a boil. In one he placed carrots, in the cond he placed eggs, and in the last he placed ground coffee beans. He let them sit and boil, without saying a word.
The daughter sucked her teeth and impatiently waited, wondering what he was doing. In about twenty minutes he turned off the burners, He fished the carrots out and placed them a bowl. Then he ladled the coffee out and placed it in a mug. Turning to her he asked, ”Darling, what do you e?”
“Carrots, eggs, and coffee,” she replied.
He brought her clor and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were
soft, He then asked her to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she obrved the hard—boiled egg, Finally, he asked her to sip the coffee She smiled as the tasted its rich aroma.
