Leonardo di r Piero Da Vinci was an Italian Renaissance polymath: painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist and writer. His surviving works, including some collaborations, consist of about 38 plays, 154 sonnets, two long narrative poems, and veral other poems. His plays have been translated into every major living language and are performed more often than tho of any other playwright.
