摘要：PURPOSE:To attain to reduce the thickness of the title apparatus, by mounting a printing hammer for allowing the type of a printing element to impact against a ribbon unit and a hammer driver for driving the printing hammer. CONSTITUTION:When a rear part housing 12 is bent to a downward side with respect to a front part housing 10, a platen 20 is oppod to a type wheel 12 through ribbon 22 while a printing hammer 32 is position in the rear surface side of a type 40 to obtain a printable state. Next, when printing paper is inrted from the side of a paper guide 60 and a paper feed key is operated, the platen 20 is rotated to feed the printing paper 20 between the platen 20 and the ribbon 22. When a key 14 is presd, a character lection motor 44 rotates and a type wheel 42 is rotated to move the type 40 to a printing position. At the same time, a hammer driving apparatus 38 is operated to move the printing hammer 32 to the direction of the platen 20 and the printing hammer 32 is allowed to impact against the rear surface of the type 40.
