offer v.用法归纳：
（1） 主动提出做某事 My daughter offered to clean the room yesterday. 女儿昨天主动提出打扫房间。
特别提示：offer表示“主动提出做某事”时，后面一般跟动词不定式。
（2）主动给与
They offered me a cup of tea when I arrived. 我到的时候他们给我了一杯茶。
（3）出价
How much do you offer for my car 我的车你给多少钱？
特别提示：offer表示“出价”时，一般用 “ offer some money for sth.”句型。
联想扩展：
（1）“要价；索价”用 “ charge some money for sth.” 句型。
I charge 100,000 Yuan for this car. 这辆车我要十万块钱。pretty是什么意思
the next（2）offer还可以作名词，表示“提供；报价”。He didn’t accept my offer. 他没有接受我的报价。

A. find + O + 形容词
Do you find it easy to do in this way 你发现没有，用这种方法做就很简单。
B. find + O + 现在分词
Walking outside, I found him smoking in the yard. 走出去，我发现他在院子吸烟。
C. find + O + 过去分词
Teacher, I found the window broken. 老师，我发现窗子破了。
D. find + O + 名词
The students find him a good teacher. 学生们发现他是个好老师。
E. find + O + 副词
We went to e him, but found him out. 我们去看他，但发现他没在。

(1)作表语
A. be eager for sth. 很想要某物
The boy is eager for the new model plane. 那个男孩很想要那个新的模型飞机。
Everyone is eager for success. 每个人都想成功。
B. be eager to do sth. 很想做某事 The child is eager to have the candy. 那个小孩很想吃糖。
I am eager to travel abroad. 我很想去国外旅行。harbinger
(2) 作定语 热切的；殷切的
I hope my class will be packed with eager students. 我希望我的课堂里坐满了热切的学生。
The students listened to his story with eager attention. 学生们很热切的听他讲故事。

assist vi & vt. 帮助
The nur assisted the doctor in the operation. 手术中护士帮助医生。

联想扩展：help, assist, aid“帮助”的区别
help 语气较随便。满足被帮者的迫切需要、麻烦或危险，自己没有办法。帮助者往往出于好意、同情或仁慈。
assist 意为辅助。强调辅助者所起的作用，所进行的工作往往是次要的；辅助者本身也处于从属地位。
aid 意为援助。比help正式。暗含被帮一方是弱者之意。

（2）聚集（vi.）

（3）聚精会神；集中思想（多和on或upon连用）
