1Applicable Scopeflagship
In order to define the type and technical requirements of pressure vesl, this standard classifies the toxicity hazard and explosion risk extent of medium. The purpo of this standard is to classify the toxicity hazard and explosion risk extent of chemical medium ( including raw material, final product, mi-product, intermediate, reaction liquid, reaction by-product and impurity etc.) ud or stored in chemical pressure vesls and define the type and the technical requirements of al and leak tightness of pressure vesls.

3.0.1The toxicity hazard and explosion risk extent of chemical mediumresume发音
defined in this standard refers to the riousness of hazard resulted from the contact of medium with human body in large quantity in accident and explosion or occupational chronic hazard due to frequent leakage of pressure vesls in the cour of production.tpk
罗马天主教3.0.2The toxicity hazard extent of chemical medium is classified on the
basis of 6 item graduation targets ( For details, plea e Appendix A Basis for Graduation of Toxicity Hazard Extent ) stipulated in GB 5044.
nca
The toxicity hazard can be classified into 3 class of extreme hazard, very hazard and medium hazard ( Note 1 ) according to the hazard extent.
什么是iis3.0.3Where it is ud to determine the class of pressure vesl, the toxicity
hazard extent classification shall be bad on accident state and the hazard resulted from the contact of medium with human body in large quantity. Therefore, this standard makes the classification after the comprehensive analysis and overall balance is made on the principles of taking 2 targets of acute toxicity and allowable max. concentration as key points and also including the other targets. Table 3.0.3-1 ~ table 3.0.3-3 give the frequently ud chemical media of extreme hazard, very hazard and medium hazard.
3.0.4Where it is ud to determine the technical requirements of al and
leak tightness of chemical pressure vesls, the potential chronic hazard resulted from the frequent leakage shall be considered in addition to the accident state. Therefore, the classification shall be made after making the comprehensive analysis and overall balance on the principles of taking 3 targets of acute toxicity, allowable max.
concentration and carcinogenesis as key points and also including the other targets. For some media, the classification shall be bad on certain major hazard extent ( such as: carcinogenesis ). For this reason, the class of a few of media listed in table 3.0.3-1 ~ table 3.0.3-3 has been adjusted. For details, plea e the notes in the tables.
3.0.5Classify the explosion risk media ( Note 2 ) according to the stipulations
of the Supervision Regulations for Safety Technology of Pressure Vesls issued by the Ministry of Labor.
